I was a small child but i had something remain in memory, i thought i was mixing this up with the chernobyl disaster until i was talking with an older friend about it. He remembered the event. It must have been pretty terrifying...

Fun fact: They didn't want to scare the public so they didn't wear hazmat suits. Only their winter parkas! O.O
Another fun fact: The USSR didn't pay all that were were asked to pay but they suggested to clean it themselves but Canada and NORAD declined because they were in a cold war with Russia.
    Nice video!

In the Soviet Union, make a good rocket? Make bad rocket? Doesn't matter, same paycheck. We all have our issues, but the Soviets are legendary for building poorly engineered, assembled and maintained hardware. Like their Submarines, or cars. I could go on.

Ah Yes!! Those poorly designing masters Soviets! Is that why USA Still uses old SOVIET made Rocket engines and uses Soyuz Rockets to send US astronauts to Space?! Very Unreliable Soviets!!
