i was born in 1990 and i feel like Deftones have been there for every major event in my life thus far.. from first love to heartbreak & every relationship in between. from the thrilling joy of birth of friends and family, to feeling completely broken down because of untimely death. i'm not sure if this makes much sense, but i know i'm not the only one who feels like their music is a hint of what the other side feels like. thank you, we miss you Chi.

My unplanned high school becoming a dad, break up, death, break up again, another break up, almost makes me fear what tragedy will align with the next album
I feel the exact same way and totally understand. Each Deftones album brings me back to a certain time of my life...high school, college, first love, heartbreak, dark days, and coming out the other side. No other band has had that impact on me.

Frank Trejo I was going to go since I missed it last year, but I didn’t like the line up and I do have to drive there from Phoenix :/ I’m going next year for sure. Them performing this made me regret not buying my ticket 😭😭😭 I’m 30 so I’ve always loved them since high school

I bought my ticket last minute and drove from slc utah, im originally from pomona california and i was like i need to see them because i had a good feeling they would perform SMILE and it was worth it. Met alot of great people
Frank Trejo I would’ve busted out crying if I were there and heard the first notes. Love this song so much!! That’s a very far drive!!! Next time I will go! What did you think of their dia de los muertos beer? I prefer swerve city out of all them.
What an amazing show that was. They had a killer set, heard a few that I’ve never seen live. Been a huge fan for 22 years and definitely will be for life

My mom passed away 2 months ago. Deftones have been my favorite band for 20+ years but this song just hits so hard righ now
