This song was made for those who stood up, supported, and loved him through out his hiatus. He was in a dark place but he's seen the love and support from friends, family, and Wenees. So this was dedicated to them. Its his unconditional love for us and a huge thank you for staying beside him no matter what. Im so proud of Wonho because he's went through HELL but hes still loving and caring just as always.

This song was dedicated to the fans that stuck by him and still supported him throughout the entire scandal. The ones that constantly stood up for him and did anything they could to be there for him. The fans that didn't immediately judge him, and believed he was innocent the entire time. The scandal was a dark time for him, but the love and support from us as fans helped him to get through it, so this song is almost his way of thanking us fans. I couldn't be more proud of him, I love him so much, and I hope he knows that we will always support him and believe in him.
1.Wonho left Monsta X in October 2019 after it was alleged he had smoked marijuana in 2013, prior to joining the band. The police have found that he's been wrongly accused, and his name has been cleared.

Then my news feed showed that Wonho left and hes the one who caught my eye first. I felt a type way. I felt so bad about what happened to him and I promised myself that if he releases music again I would listen to it, so here I am. Im so happy for him and glad he was able to rise again from people trying to bring him down.

@@natasha4440 Thanks, but we'll see. Wonho is a solo artist so I'll definitely try to keep up with him. When it comes to Monsta X and other groups, I'm not good with multi-stanning. Thats difficult for me. I give BTS so much of my energy and support and I cant really see myself giving another group that attention. As silly as it may sound, it would feel like I'm betraying BTS. Also, Army gets a lot of hate from other fandoms, and I see how hard it is for army who are caught up in multi-fandoms, I dont want to go through that. So im not saying no, im just saying Ill think about it.

Yes, he said it's for fans, but in a recent interview on iheartradio he mentioned it can also be applied for relationships. It depends on the person listening. Whenever Wonho created music for Monsta X he always gave the songs several meanings simultaneously, or at least more than one. If you check one of Monsta X's episodes on Weekly Idol they analyze something Wonho wrote and got chills when they realized what they were actually seeing. In the end, they found out each sentence began with a letter that created a whole sentence and it had other hidden meanings within it besides the overall. This is how Wonho works.

Because obviously he left monsta x in order to protect them and the fans and not drag them into what he was (falsely) accused of. Which is why so many were moved by this song 😥 (and yes that is definitely a visual representation of the fans at a concert at the end)

He has such a pure heart and sacrificed himself to not tarnish the reputation of Monsta X. This will be the closest he will ever get to saying thank you to Monbebe for staying by his side. I also feel like he wrote this for his 6 brothers.

So Wonho is THE REASON whyyyy I got into kpop!!!!!! He is my ultimate bias. 🐇Him in "Hero" on some random kpop countdown video I was watching to relate to a friend of mine who was really into kpop (back in 2016), that's how my kpop journey all started. Because of him. Monsta X was my first kpop concert and the first group I scanned, and who I've seen live most. Wonho leaving Monsta X last year, Oct 31st, was also when I was leaving a lot of things in my life behind. I was a damn mess when I got the news, until he finally resurfaced. I was hearing of contracts of other bands I stan ending soon and concerts having to get canceled... Wonho's return and this song got me through this year. Yeah this song was about his reasoning for leaving MonstaX and to the fans and his friends why he just left. I've never cried so hard over a song or an mv. I hurt SO MUCH FOR HIM. Like he KNEW he was innocent from DAY ONE but he he put his friends and fans before himself when he left the group knowing he was innocent but not wanting the group, his friends, to go down or be slandered. so... yes the lyrics and video are about monsta x and monbebe losing him last october when he was being persecuted by Jung Da Eun and Han So Hee. There's several scenes that connote him being confused, lost and trapped, building up to the point where he runs himself over with a car (when everything hit the fan and he left) the lights at the end are from Mondoongie (monbebe's lightstick) they surround him like they would at a Monsta-X concert. The lights could also be perceived as the thousands of monbebe who fought for him on twitter even though they couldn't do anything in person.

Wonho came into the live chat with us 20 minutes before this mv dropped and told us that this song was for us (we know it was for the boys as well). This one hits hard and special for the monbebe and wenee that fought for and with him. This has been explained as a kind of love song to his fans as a way of him reaching out for the first time he can to them. The idea that the fans were holding him from the edge and he’s glad that he has been able to do the same for them at times. That he wants to protect his fans, support them and thank them. But it swing both ways cause we were an ‘army’ for him. Loosing me is better than loosing you - I took this as if he had to go and be lost that he didn’t want those who loved him to feel pain because they are more precious. The one sacrifice for the well-being of the many. That he admits he lives for that interaction with fans and I think the video at this point with him covered in a sheet while a storm rages like him waiting all that time in isolation in solitary while the storm raged and he couldn’t use his phone as he had to just stay in that place till the end, all the time unable to reach out.
