I never thought Miko would end up playing a videogame adaptation of Captain Tsubasa, one of the biggest names in the sports anime genre (particularly association football). And, wow, those over-the-top moments really caught her by surprise. I wonder how her reactions would be if she watched the actual show, preferably the original 80's version that I grew up with because I remember seeing these crazy moments in the show.
I wasn’t really a fan of Captain Tsubasa when I was young. I just saw a few episodes here and there and this game was one of them. So much suspense during this game, it was madness. In any case, it’s funny to discover that Miko discovers that the purpose of these matches was not to defeat the opposing team but to destroy the players of the opposing team with crazy strikes.🤣
The last game between Nankatsu and Toho in the anime lasted for like 10 episodes. Its basically the Captain Tsubasa equivalent of Namek exploding in the next 5 minutes.
Ooh boy, Mikochi clearly needs to watch Inazuma Eleven if she thinks this is crazy. Football matches are INSANE in that franchise. We're talking literal black holes and dimensional rifts summoned by children (and gods, [fake] aliens, time travellers, angels, demons, a freakin' DINOSAUR and aliens again, for real this time) and yet not only the referee doesn't give a dam, the nets are also seemingly unbreakable. And the weirdest part is that it's actually pretty good. Like JoJo, it thrives on the suspension of disbelief and if you're able to not look too much into the absurdiness of it all, it's quite charming in my opinion. They even summon stands after the timeskip.
I was way pass that childhood age when Inazuma 11 came out 😂😂 Captain Taubasa and the Prince of Tennis literally my childhood when it’s came to Shonen sport anime
