In season 1 there are episodes like anthology which focused only on saitama. I liked season 2 more because it showed sides characters and the world they are in along with a single story which will be continued in next season.

I liked your review, almost similar to mine but according to my perspective, they gave saitama a tremendous amount of power and explained his way of thinking in s1 and in s2, they 80% made the season look to us from Garou's perspective which was very good, and at last, they told us about the flaws of thinking of saitama in the talk between saitama and king while walking. So, overall as you told, the comedy portion was missing but the aspect and handle-ment of the story was good according to me.

The Far I'm here that, S1 was focused on Saitama and S2 on Garo, like building the character of the hero and the villain. (Also same for Hero association and Monster Association) And yeah, season 1 was epic! But the moment in season 2 where Saitama vs Blizzard and sonic interaction, Blizzard seeing King, and furthermost the finalist of the tournament (his name?) realizing and Saitama giving him hope was as amazing as the defeating moment of the Sea King in S1, probably more.
The thing is that One Punch Man is the season 1 set the bar so high that 2nd season felt underwhelming and actually it's not due to the story but the animation studio that handled it (and I personally liked the story of season 2 it's amazing and we got to explore the whole O.P.M. universe and garou got setup for the 3rd season ).
2nd Season was not about Saitama, It was about the anti heroes Garou and Sonic Ninja. You need to focus on the characters to make a good show, think of 2nd season as Naruto's Shikamaru's revenge arc where Naruto were only training and just joined the battle at the very last.
Season two is more story driven and focused on garou and other charcaters And i actually iked second season very much and it's just that saitma didn't get much screen time so that's why people gets upset

In season 1 there are episodes like anthology which focused only on saitama. I liked season 2 more because it showed sides characters and the world they are in along with a single story which will be continued in next season.

I liked your review, almost similar to mine but according to my perspective, they gave saitama a tremendous amount of power and explained his way of thinking in s1 and in s2, they 80% made the season look to us from Garou's perspective which was very good, and at last, they told us about the flaws of thinking of saitama in the talk between saitama and king while walking. So, overall as you told, the comedy portion was missing but the aspect and handle-ment of the story was good according to me.

The Far I'm here that, S1 was focused on Saitama and S2 on Garo, like building the character of the hero and the villain. (Also same for Hero association and Monster Association)
And yeah, season 1 was epic! But the moment in season 2 where Saitama vs Blizzard and sonic interaction, Blizzard seeing King, and furthermost the finalist of the tournament (his name?) realizing and Saitama giving him hope was as amazing as the defeating moment of the Sea King in S1, probably more.

The thing is that One Punch Man is the season 1 set the bar so high that 2nd season felt underwhelming and actually it's not due to the story but the animation studio that handled it (and I personally liked the story of season 2 it's amazing and we got to explore the whole O.P.M. universe and garou got setup for the 3rd season ).
2nd Season was not about Saitama, It was about the anti heroes Garou and Sonic Ninja. You need to focus on the characters to make a good show, think of 2nd season as Naruto's Shikamaru's revenge arc where Naruto were only training and just joined the battle at the very last.
