The rotating head switch is a JOKE and the led can't be replaced.. Maglite is in the toilet!!!!

Mag lite just needs to improve their marketing, their flashlights are worth every penny

@@jaredbryant8297 When was the last time you bought one?? They fell way behind by not switching to LED's and then by removing the switches. The machining and materials are still good but they still use old alkaline batteries and now you can't even change the bulbs.... Worth every penny is debatable.

@@twistedhillbilly6157 I used many different flashlights, and mag kites still get rotated into my work equipment. While Maglite doesn’t make the most ridiculously bright flashlights, most users will be very happy with the led lineup. The color is excellent, everything they can be is made and sourced here in the US. The battery issue can be rectified by buying rechargeable lithiums. You can buy lithium rechargeable batteries in most sizes, or you can buy adapters. For example, a bunch of AA lithiums can be placed into a d-cell adapter. Even the pricing has gotten more competitive honestly. The only thing the need to do is offer a few more designs, like a super thrower.

@@jaredbryant8297 So,, NO you haven't bought one recently and seen first hand all of the changes they made I DO understand that things can be modified for an additional cost, added risk, and voided warranty.. lithium C-cells are 10 to 20 bucks each and the quality is questionable at at best and different voltage which will pop the bulb.. Since like I said, the bulbs are NOT replaceable.. I do not understand your argument.. I said that the machining quality still seems good.. It seems like you are saying buy an expensive disposable flashlight, immediately void what little warranty is still given (BULB EXCLUDED!), spend a lot more money on odd-ball batteries and/or adaptors and chargers that will destroy the light in one second, forget about the FACT that they don't even have a switch anymore all in the name of yester-year.. I have owned many of them for many years and still do.. I bought some new ones recently and it is a completely different story.. They do NOT look the same,, they do NOT work the same... At least with the old models, I was able to convert to LED and 18650's,, that option is no longer an option..

@@twistedhillbilly6157 oh shut up and calm down. Some of the lights DO HAVE A SWITCH! I am so tired of good American companies being ignored because "Muh Sofirn/Acebeam/Wuben".
And I don't think you know much about what you're talking about, The led will not die because you used a rechargeable. You sound like a dramatic and argumentative, bumbling fool
