I always had a place in my heart and recognized his talent and rooted for him all the time. He has been through tremendous obstacle and wish him the best. I saw him about three years ago or so at a Boston gay bar and he was looking not so good and with some low life. I wanted to say hello but didn't and thought I probably should have because it looked like he could have used a friend and someone to talk to who would have cared.
God, I love Rudy and I miss seeing him skate. He was my fave in the late 90s. Does anybody know what he's up to these days? I'm having a hard time finding info on how he's doing, what he's doing, etc.
Were children in the audience of this "performance?" Pretty crass if that is true. Parents taking their kids to a skating event would most likely not approve.
