Pups on sawdust are more often than not from a puppy mill. Choose a breeder that not only has the mom there but also raises the pups in their house. Even better would be adopting a dog instead of buying one. Puppies op zaagsel zijn vaker wel dan niet afkomstig uit de broodfok. Most people like to pick out a pup with proper expectations of looks, temperament and health, you rarely get that from a mutt/shelter dog. And what's wrong with a breeder having pups being raised outside of the home? As long as they have shelter available and are taking proper care of the dogs, I see no problem.

I remember going to pick up my first boxer puppy when I was 8yrs old. Out of a litter of 9 one little lady came and lay down on my foot so I picked her up and she promptly went to sleep on my lap, we had her for 14yrs. So you see I didn't choose her, she chose me and what a beautiful faithful friend she was, I'm 74 now and still miss her.

His vision is failing, his hearing is just about gone..and i sometimes have to help him with his initial stand where his hips are failing him. People tell me i should think about putting him down. My husband picked up the phone to dail the numbers and i started to cry. He does not seem to be in pain (as far as i know) he still follows me everywhere i go. He has been a loyal dog. Affectionate through 3 kids..and multiple friends sleeping over often..never even nipped anyone. He did use to get the kids down on floor and lick them all over their face/trying to get in their mouth...as they try to not laugh because the last thing they wanted was an open mouth kiss from the dog.. or singing out loud "bad boys, bad boys, watcha gonna do....." and everytime it would get him started singing along.. you'd of thought we had a hound.. the baby walking in a freshly pooed diaper and him so gently taking the diaper off with his teeth and attempting to clean it up... ofcoarse i stopped him. Thanks to anyone who read me reminiscing for far to long in the wrong place. any advice about euthanasia appreciated?? Don't want him in pain/ suffering for my selfish reasons. But imo he still has quality of life. Doesn't seem to be in pain.. but he can't tell me.
When choosing pets, the ones that run towards you and don’t leave you alone have chosen you. They will serve you the most love and affection, looks like the one in the very front has chosen you. It’s also beautiful, the black mask is outstanding!
mine died from a very aggressive bone cancer. even in deaths door she never yelped. but her heavy breathing tells me how tired and in pain she was. In the 10 years we spent with each other until the last car ride 😂 she still licks the air. i miss her so much❤
Ive had four boxers in my life so far (im a teen) on that was super old when I was young, one that was a bit younger, and one that watched me grow up my whole life. Those boxers all lived together and then the first two died and we bought the last one a friend, the last one has now died and her friend has become my best friend ❤
This reminds me of when I got my first dog and ironically it was a boxer I had him for 9 years he passed away 6 Years ago I was the one who picked him out he was a mother's day gift to my mom gift to my mom but me and him bonded like brothers considering I was 3 years old I was turning 4 that year so from when I was 3 1/2 years old till I was 13 years old 2008 to 2017 I had him for I gave him his final walk before he was put down it was the hardest thing I had to do especially knowing I was never going to see my bestfriend again I miss him everyday my bed feels empty what I would give just to wake up to see him laying next to me or under my leg again cuz he always layed in my bed with me like an extra blanket and now my bed but also my heart feels as empty as it always is also due to me losing my pitbull 2 months ago while I was at basic training
it took me 10 years to be able to get 2 boxer girls after my first died of old age at 13 I could not get past the pain of losing her, the grief is no joke, get a boxer it won't be the same but you will find happiness again looking at a familiar face :)
