How to hang wall mounted entertainment center

- By hanging all of my entertainment equipment and electronics, I’ve increased the aesthetic value of my living room, as well as the amount of floor space. Here is how I did it.
I’m a professional audio video contractor. I APPLAUD your effort. You did a good job. Many people aren’t intrepid enough to venture on a project like this. I just did one last night. It takes a lot of time even for professionals with a lot of experience. We do the best with what we have. It’s easy to Monday morning quarterback. Thanks for sharing, some will benefit some won’t. Congrats to you. Stay well.
I appreciate your kind words. Of all my videos, I’ve received a lot of negative criticism on this one. Have considered taking it down, but refuse to let the haters get to me. Thanks for taking the time to reach out, to an ‘average guy’ it means a lot!
A simple quote sums up my view on many things. “Focus on the donut not the hole.”
Respect for filming this and uploading this for OTHERS! I'd say this is a good way to hide wires without breaking the dry wall. Informative video on how outside conduits can help hide wires.
Thanks for taking the time to write a positive review!
@@averageguy9630 appreciate the time you took to film and upload this vid!
you should have videoed the entire process
I know, it was an afterthought and I was new to the making of videos. I was more impressed with how much space it opens up by taking it off the floor, really made a difference! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Great video and work!
Looks good. You could still "fish" your wires through the wall, it's alot of work tho. I like the floating entertainment center.
Have a question, was it hard to get the tv stand over the conduit holding the cords in the middle? How did you get the conduit to fit behind the stand without leaving a gap?
Paint the wall outlet covers, it'll look eeven cleaner.
Where does the brackets go on the back of the entertainment center
Hi, loved your video! I wanted to ask how is the Tv stand holding up? I wanted to get one to put some older game consoles on.
I won’t lie, every time my child goes underneath it I have a skipped heartbeat. But that’s only because I know how heavy it all is. Otherwise it looks just as good as the day I bought it. I am just a normal paranoid parent by nature! I’m sure it will be fine 20 years from now.
Also, thank you very much for the positive comment! I am very much a normal person like yourself, and these kind of things make my day!
@@averageguycameron7692 Thank you so much for your quick responce and thank you again for your insight! I really appreciate it!
GRINACE Just giving you a heads up, the TV stand is still holding up extremely well! Not a concern noted.
@@averageguycameron7692 hey I am glad to hear that! I ended up making one from scratch using plywood. Thank you so much for the update
Where did you get it? Link? I like it.
Hi can you tell me what the name is of the wall mount you used for the entertainment center?
For the shelf, it came with the bracket. The TV was one I found at princess auto.
Why not put the wires through the drywall
Where in Canada are you? I need my media unit anchored up 😭😭😭😭😭
East Coast!
Good luck!
Where did you buy entertainment center?
Amazon
Do you have the link?
May we have the name of it or link..
@@kevinruiz7887 I went ahead and built my own very similar design 🤘🏻.

Literallyyy!! I watched him talk. He did nothing. How do we know he did it himself?
Horrible.
I thought inwas going to see a how to (DIY) video. Not a sign language tutorial. 🤦♂️
Looks like it's about to fall
Hasn’t yet, and it’s been two years.
Clean that wires up. Looks bad. Pull them behind the wall. This looks ugly. Sorry for my bluntness.
Ur TV is way too high
Really messy job.
HATER
@@BiitethecurbI'm a hater because I said it's a messy job? It is. Don't be a snowflake.
