This brings back so many memories. I remember my friend fanboying over the potential of the game in Alpha 2. I decided to give it a try and fell in love with the game. I remember sitting in the background watching the king be killed, trying to get as many screenshots as I could because I was really late. I played that game since there were no item drops and archers were non-existent. This almost brought me to tears. And I'm being very honest. I haven't touched Hordes.io in 3 or 4 years and this just showed up in my feed, reminding me of one of those games I spend so many hours on and couldn't play enough. Thank you for making this video. The nostalgia from this is so powerful and it wouldn't be there without you. So, thank you.
I remember playing this when I was still in elementary school, if you would, at that time. I liked the Shaman because of its heal and DPS capabilities and I thought it'd have good combat capabilities. Then I forgot the game right until 2020, when I slightly recalled it- I forgot the game's name and I just remembered the flat plane and my blocky character and the skills. I started searching and I saw how much the game has grew over the 4 years. Definitely a surprise for me then. Wishing Hordes a bright future.
Alpha Hordes.io, you will be missed. Also how did I not know that MG dropped a witch's heart?!?!?!? TBH all of the whs are not that bad. Last day of Alpha, 4gr0s dropped a scarebow, a pretty decent one.
Coming back to an alpha video like this years later is such a throwback, I remember I spent a lot of time in wotr especially with Wotr himself, times were good, but it seems the ways of alpha have fallen behind and no one wants this sort of gameplay back, it's all aggressive pvp now, no safe farming, although there is an alternative game someone made on Roblox that's a WIP but alpha shall always hold a special place in my heart and I will never forget it
