- Hey Folks. I'm going to be shuttering my content production for a while as my family transitions into new digs.
Here’s what I envision for TNF during this transition:
-I’ll be checking and responding to comments.
-Suspending my Patreon account for the time being, and refunding recent payments.
-The TNF PayPal account will remain open, for those who want to show support and appreciation for the work that I’ve done so far. And will provide again when I’m back up and running.
-When might we be fired back up? I’m hoping to have things back in place, or something akin, by the end of the summer. Hopefully sooner. ASAP!
Thanks for your understanding while my family makes this transition. Hopefully, what I have produced thus far will keep the channel alive during this production break. Wish us godspeed!

Nature of fishing has been a cornerstone of my understanding of the natural world. It's not only allowed me to be a better angler, it's allowed me to become a better naturalist. Dude, don’t refund me anything from the patreon. Honestly, I didn’t contribute much (mostly due to pandemic reasons, etc) but it’s the only patreon I’ve ever contributed to because this is the first fishing channel that made me say “this guy should *really* be getting paid for this”. The spawning and life cycle series alone is worth it. I obviously can’t speak for anyone else but if I do see a refund from patreon, I’ll probably just filter it back in via PayPal.

Thanks for checking in, Christopher. We’ve moved and am in process of setting up. A lot to do yet, and with spring breathing down my neck. Our new property has two bass ponds on it, as well as smallies and muskies very close by. I have to steel myself as I drive past all that while running errands, so that it’s not quite so painful. 😣 Getting there!

I’m setting up a studio space and just starting to explore my new stomping grounds. Actually fished for the first time and, oddly, didn’t feel too rusty! Or I’m so rusty I didn’t notice!
Will be introducing the new environs here on the channel soon. And then take it from there. There are two bass ponds on our property here, which is darn convenient, although I’m not sure of the fishing quality of them yet. And there is a smallmouth/musky river close by. Should be fun.

Hi, Robert. I could see the writing on the wall but had such a hard time doing this video. I didn't want to do this video and held off as long as I could. Growing up in southeast Louisiana, I’ve fished every species of fish, from bluegill, to blue marlin. But to me, there has always been something completely out of the ordinary with bass... The habits and nature of this mysterious and elusive fish has had me scratching my head from time to time throughout my lifetime since I was 10 years old. I’m 49 now, and I have many trophy fish hanging on my wall, including a 10lb bass, but they still leave me baffled at times....
Your channel has been such a useful tool within my freshwater tackle box, and has answered many questions that I have had in my lifetime, and I am excited to see more content from you in the future. Thank you for what you do. - Britt
