Equipped with a polyurethane door and inspection cover, steel feed pipe protected by ceramic wear linings, and durable segmented wedge wire screen fitted in a robust cage, this range achieves long-lasting performance in the toughest coal dewatering applications. Multotec’s vibrating centrifuge has exciter bearing assembly and vibrator split pulley. Adjustable vibration speed enables optimisation of the dewatering performance. The resonance operating principle clears the basket during overloading conditions. Feed wear cone and finger bars uniformly accelerate the feed onto the rotating wedge wire screen, increasing centrifugal force and reducing bed height across the wedge wire screen length to optimise dewatering. Profiled ceramic tile mats in the liquid housing area protect the steel area from direct impact and abrasion. Wedge wire basket or segmented wedge wire screens reduce maintenance time and maintenance cost, and improve safety as no rigging is needed. Material floor build-up lessens damage or break-up. Ceramic tiles, which are optional, protect the solids discharge housing and feed pipe. Water recovery reduces operational and transfer costs. Vibration dampeners prevent transfer of vibration to the structure. The continuous oil lubrication and filtration system require low maintenance on the gearbox and rotating assembly. This improves gear box life as oil pressure / flow interlock to protect against gear box failure.
