Hi a couple questions
1. How would you say the community is at fowler? Does everyone mostly keep to themselves?
2. How was the temperature in the rooms
3. Would you recommend a co-Ed hall like Fowler over a single gender hall like Davis Gary
1. I would definitely say that most people keep to themselves, but there is bonfire, an org that mostly recruits from FHK, and they do try to get a community together. It wasn't the type of people I was interested in hanging out with, but they do hang out in the outdoor courtyard area.
2. The temperature was hit or miss, there are no thermostats in FHK so we couldn't control what it was and never knew what it was. I was never uncomfortable though. At night I got cold sometimes because the vent blew out right onto my bed, but I would just cover up with blankets.
3. I honestly wish that I had been in a single gender hall. I think I would have been a lot more comfortable and been able to make more friends. I was against single-gender halls before I got to A&M but after a few weeks in fowler I realized that I would have preferred a single-gender dorm. One thing about the single gender dorms is that they can be pretty strict about escorting any guests in or out (especially guys because it's obvious that they don't live there), Rudder was the pickiest last year, but it really depends on the RAs. RAs are typically pretty chill though.

Melody Dawn Miller do you know anything about David- Gary’s strictness when it comes to guys, and is there anything specific about fowler that made you feel like you would prefer a single-gendered dorm? Thanks!
I plan to stay in fowler, and I'm trying to figure out how tall your fridge is under the sink. LOL
