My very first car that i passed my driving test in was a Triumph Toledo in the same Valencia Blue, then i moved upto a 2000 estate, luxury compared to other cars of the time. There can't be many 1300's left in this condition. A very nice example for a Triumph collector.
My mum have one of these registration OOT 945G in 1969. I passed my test in it in the same year. I flooded the carburettor on my first trip as a qualified driver when I drove it through a deep Ford with my mates on board. It stalled and had to call local dealer. My mum wasn't pleased... Happy days
Oh, wow. My mum's first car, same colour, same interior. Also 1969, registered PZU 4 (Dublin) , it was about three years old. Though small, it was definitely a fancy car. Posh compared to Dad's battered Viva. Someone is in for a treat with this one.
Wonderful car & example - had one, but a TC twin carb version, same colour and age as a 'fun; second car 25 years ago - really excellent, nice driving well balanced and handling car - now very rare indeed
i always wanted one after being given a ride in a Dolomite Sprint. Saw one in an Auction in Leicester C1990. Thought hard about it, it still reached a premium and the floor was falling out! I dropped out early, Lucky escape but folk still wanted it.
The FWD arrangement was inspired by Triumph's cooperation with SAAB Only real fault I recall with these apart from rust was they were prone to jammed starters
Nothing a whack with a Hammer on the back end couldn't asort!!! I had a 1967 model on an E plate for four years and loved it! there is a box section at the front windscreen and wing joint that collects water and rots the wing at that point, i know, mine had to hav enew wings on it. Loved the ease of working on the engine, Triumph ewngines were far better than the a series BMC ones, mor reliable and better for access.😀
Excellent condition
Lovely motor, when we still made great cars in the UK, despite the management's and unions' best efforts to sabotage production...

What a beauty. 😊
Stunning this car, belongs to a friend of mine kept everything perfect one of a kind!
I owned a 1966 Reg GAY 333D White Triumph 1300. Drove it from Burton on Trent to Torquay in 1975. Great car.

Interior is vinyl, not leather.
Still lovely though 😊
Yes , I recall it was referred to as ' Breathable Ambla ' - - a perforated vinyl but looked nice though !.

i like and support all old British made cars 👌👌👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🚗🚗
I had a 1967 in gunmetal grey with a black interior, had issues (as everyone did) with both wings rotting out, sold it in 1977 for £450 !!
The one car I have owned, D plate, that I would love to own again.
An absolutely close to mint car, I wish I could own it but I don't drive anymore.
My dad had one of these, 1966 reg, lovely car, has new wings on it though

Had one in the 1960s a very nice car until the rust got it.
Has quality interior with leather and wood, the image of an old man's car, didn't appeal to young divers.
Well, they weren't designed to be submersible...
