You melt it in great tree , go through the people standing there , you have to do 3 green ones to have enough points to buy the other half of the blue medallion

You can buy it from the npc near the gate for pts that you get from killing monsters each trial
It'll take you 3 trials to gather enough pts to but the second part each time
