Interesting castle, you can see the importance - close to the English Border, not far from the river and a safe haven if a raiding party tries their luck. Great video and superbly narrated , Alessa. Looks great from above too.

Great video Alessa & Brett, so good to hear all about the history of Grosmont Castle. It looked almost like it was built to fit next to that river & in between the river & road. But the road was maybe not there then? Or maybe it was 🤷🏼♀️
Couldn't imagine getting a castle as a gift let alone 3 castles! OMG it has to be so hard for these people to build the castle in the first place and these guys just flatten it and start over 😳They didn't have wrecking balls back then, what did that project look like. Interesting about on the walls and location. Watergate was something completely different here in the states 😁
