Hey bud. Here in Arkansas razorback town there is actually an issue with Ferrell razorback outside town in the Ozarks down to Texas destroying fields and farms. So I'm thinking of getting into hog hunting. Them hogs got some tough skin you know. And they might be a hundred in a pack or herd whatever it's called. I'm looking at the General Electric GAU-8 Avenger huntin rifle. Maybe mount it in my 97 4 cylinder Ford ranger pick up truck bed. So we can go pig sooiee razorback huntin at night. You think we could bring some pork chops home with that? God I love pork chops on the grill. Would depleted uranium contaminate the meet you think? Maybe I should go with incideraries so the meat is pre cooked for me. Whacha think?

Though im Iowa and Iowa state all the way where i was born and grew up. Yeah A10 was my fav plane as kid. i did model cars and planes as kid and remember the a10. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt!!!! I was mechanic in guard. started after storm out just before 9/11. never deployed. but had i been id want them a10s covering me. f the f35. give me a10 any day!!!!! warthogs rule!!!! Fort Smith Arkansas used to have them. used to see them flying here. they only got drones now last 10 years. Whitman is closest to me with them. There with the B2s

That thing is just plain awesome! I really like how you made it your own… much different than the majority of AKs out there, no doubt about that. AKs are so reliable, but not so ergonomic. With the modernization you did, makes a world of difference. Don’t get me wrong, I love my classic AKs, but there’s just something about one setup for the modern day. Sucks about the trigger pins walking, but glad you were able to rectify it there rather than having to make another trip. You’re gonna love the KNS piston setup! Run those on a couple of mine… can make them run super smooth. As for the barrel, you should be able to get it threaded from what I can see. Awesome job brother! Welcome to the AK side of things 😊

@ absolutely! Be happy to help in any way I can. As far as re threading… it’s actually better that we do it here anyways because often times AKs threaded overseas aren’t concentric and need to be fixed to run a can safely. Had to do this with my Draco AK.
And one more thing. After magazine is empty, try to first detach it and then rack it couple of times. That's a more safe subconscious memory skill to have.
Have you looked into a clamp on muzzle brake? I'd be worried about trying to thread it and it not being concentric. Can't wait to see what else you do with it bro!
I have but a good friend of mine found a guy that is awesome at threading AK barrels and he is only about 25 minutes from my house so I am going to have him do both of mine

Just missing a muzzle brake/device, that would kill the climb. The surefire flash hiders are good for that, I have mine on 14 1/2" build (pinned and welded lol).

You're lucky it's garbage I would definitely ask for your money back. I preordered mine and it took 3 weeks to get here. They probably aren't shipping them because they know they are junk

Did the trigger come with a retainer to hold the pins inside the receiver
No I had to buy one
Understandable at least it's an easy fix
Check out definitive arms muzzle brakes they're lightweight and do a great job
