  • It’s so far off the beaten path, people who live in this part of Tennessee say it’s not on the way to anywhere. In fact, if it’s not where you’re going, they say you’re lost. There’s very little vehicle access into the area, but miles of untapped wilderness once you get there. And while it’s only about two hours from Nashville it leaves you feeling as if you are worlds away. We’re talking about the Big South Fork National River and Recreation area, as well as Pogue Creek Canyon State Natural Area up on the Cumberland Plateau. Wild Side Guide Annette Nole Hall ventured out with her family to see what they could find there with the help of a few four-legged friends. From show 3001. Love seeing this, but the rules in Big South Fork say dogs must be on a leash? I'd sure like to take my dogs offleash riding up there... !!
