RHCP songs define all my emotions. They perfectly describe all my happiness, joy, sadness, depression, recovery, spirit, comeback, ecstasy, hope... just everything. They're the soundtrack not just to my life but seem to be the soundtrack to my emotions. I want to thank whoever made that possible.
I Feel you my Brother Depression is Cold and lonely expressly on the Streets , But Hey there is Other Day just takes Talking to Someone who will Listen . God 🙏 Bless
'I love all of you hurt by the cold.' We all know how much the cold can burn. Sometimes I forget that everyone has felt it. This song makes me remember that we all struggle.
The guitar riff starting at 2:00 is so haunting, like something barely remembered from a dream. This song makes me feel so sad and nostalgic. So much has changed, and for the worse.
It can get better. No matter what it is. RHCP made up part of the soundtrack to my heroin addiction, so hearing some of their songs (this being one of them) bring back some cold, dark memories. I'm clean for nearly 6 years now. But good music = good music, so i still listen to them... even though their music/lyrics evoke some terribly painful memories in me. Now i try to see it as things being so much better than they used to. I changed, but my love for their songs never has. (Just wanted to comment because my experiences/what their music means to me is the opposite of what it is to you) But whatever it is, I hope it gets better for you. Love u man
I would like to dedicate this song to my friend who passed away today. Love your friends while you can, show them how good is to have them around and how precious they are, never take anything for granted.🖤💔
This was the darkest Chili's record. A little lower on the punk and the funk, but high on the tight jams and experimental. As someone who loves both Jane's and RHCP, I'm happy it happened
Dark time for Kiedis, he relapsed back into hard drugs after quite along time clean just before recording this album. And Dave started drinking again. It was a hard time for them. But it produced some decent work.

These songs are so special. Remember Under the Bridge? Where do you go when nobody gives you shelter? Find a friend . Let them be your shelter, Your bridge. I LOVE ALL OF YOU!😢😢😢❤❤❤
Absolutely, it hits people in the heart because this song for whatever reason they wrote this song came from their heart and when musicians write something from the heart that will come through to those that listen to it.
Road Trippin does it for me because that use to be my absolute favorite thing to do and then my circle collapsed and man was I a lost soul for the better part of a decade.

I saw them live a few times and saw Flea with Talking Heads, Joy Division and the Banshees t-shirts, he also likes punk rock, and post hardcore (FEAR, Fugazi, Black Flag, X, etc). Navarro gets a lot of hate these days, I'll admit that he didn't fit with the band as well as John or Hillel, but still I think he did some great stuff with them.
Totally agree; I think it's the contrast with John (um....hard to stand next to a phenom?)? And I'm super sure why but I've seen them twice after Navarro and never seen them play anything from this album. This is a great song, for sure (I think, anyway).

There is a genuine reason why that the rhcp are decades old. They know their craft. They speak to people. I remember hearing under the bridge when I was a teenager. I didn't understand the lyrics of Anthony Kiedis back when I was a young man finding my way in this ****, **** world. At least we had Men who played guitars back then.
I agree, they are typically a wild bunch but for whatever reason they wrote this song, which I think is really out of character for this group. They must have had a reason to have written this song and it came from their soul and that comes through to the listener, it definitely stirs my emotions every time I hear it.
@Lincoln Judge I graduated in 98'. I asked my classmate Hey do you have any CDs you don't want anymore or I can borrow? He lent me One Hot Minute. He said If you like it you can have it for 5 or 10 bucks, I don't remember exactly how much but the next day or two I gave him money. I loved the album. Best question I ever asked a classmate. God that album is amazing.
I bought it back in the day and I loved it. I also had Bloor Sugar Sex Magic so I could make the inmediate comparison. The first record was a rock funk band, the second was a heavy rock funk band. I really think the band should make their sound a little dirtier. I heard some of that in the song The Heavy Wing on Unlimited Love.
I absolutely LOVE this song. It has that power that only music does, to give a deep sense of contentment. Thank you guys for connecting with the world on such a deep level. Be excellent to each other! 🖖
I think the album with Dave Navarro was some of their best work! He brought another creative dynamic to them. And more great albums would have come if they stayed with him.

Because it was so different because John Frusciante was in rehab. Dave Navarro is a bad ass, but he didn't meld into the rest of the band the same way, and definitely didn't have the same vibe with Anthony. It's an awesome album, because it was made by awesome musicians, but Dave Navarro had to step into a role that came naturally to John Frusciante. It's all explained in the book Scar Tissue
we are safe, no coronavirus is gonna make us unsafe, we have an immune system. oh and add to the fact that 99.7% of people recover from this virus. the media and government is hyping this bullshit up so they have a reason to impose more control over us all. cause thats what governments are interested in. more power and more money for themselves. Don't feel alone my friends, I know we are having difficult times, but i feel the question of your loneliness :)
Thanks ha
One of the most beautiful songs i've ever heard in 90'S.
Navarro's Loudness.
"My friends are so depressed" Frusciante was one of them on these days
Masterpiece.
Anthony is such a beautiful creature
true❤
This song touches my soul 🖤
Navarro gets a lot of hate these days, I'll admit that he didn't fit with the band as well as John or Hillel, but still I think he did some great stuff with them.
Very true
oh ya. u just sayin that or did u watch that documentary
I haven't seen the documentary, what's it called?
Totally agree; I think it's the contrast with John (um....hard to stand next to a phenom?)? And I'm super sure why but I've seen them twice after Navarro and never seen them play anything from this album. This is a great song, for sure (I think, anyway).
As well as John,Hillel and Josh ;)
I alwaysed loved this song. Such emotion and creativity. It reaches your soul.
I love all of them
@Jaysyn Ashanti i dont know if i would because i have a lot of fake friends ;-; They call me ugly every day
My friends are so depressed
I feel the question of your loneliness
Confide 'cause I'll be on your side
You know I will, you know I will
Ex-girlfriend called me up
Alone and desperate on the prison phone
They want to give her 7 years
For being sad
[Chorus:]
I love all of you
Hurt by the cold
So hard and lonely, too
When you don't know yourself
My friends are so distressed
And standing on the brink of emptiness
No words I know of to express
This emptiness
[Chorus]
Imagine me
Taught by tragedy
Release
Is peace
I heard a little girl
And what she said was something beautiful
"To give your love no matter what."
Is what she said.
[Chorus]

Am I the only one who thinks that Flea with beard looks like some kind of sailor or pirate? :D
However, awesome song and band!
flea with a beard
mind blown
AlexSilv3r And Anthony looks a little like Alanis Morissette in the studio clips. Hahaha...Mothers milk baby im no hater...one of my many favorite bands, just making an observation
I didn't even think it was Flea
@@acemccloud3497 Surprisingly enough, both Flea and Dave did in fact play on Alanis' Jagged Little Pill, most notably "You Oughta Know".

Still come back to this once in a while, even in 2019.
I've always loved this song, but now I finally understand the lyrics. And it's really sad, but this song has gave me the strenght that I needed.
Happy Birthday Anthony! You rock and always will. May all your wishes come true ~

Anthony was SO GORGEOUS.
Actually he still is
it's still gorgeous❤
I heard a little girl and what she said was something beautiful....I love it makes me go back to the nineties when life was innocent
Master piece. That song just never gets old. Ageing so damn well. Jeez...fantastic.
Shit, I miss 90s. I miss old good songs and stuff.
Sadly I never got to live the 90s, but that's when my favorite music was around

Hello Hello Vulgarity is no necessary substitute for wit.
I remember hearing this song while my friend and I were driving to see them perform at The Spectrum. Silverchair and The Rentals were the opening act. I miss those random moments of freedom.
This song is my favorite song recall all my passing friends
Nostalgia, amores, historias no concretadas y mucha tristeza me transmite, love u rhcp
Never was a peppers fan... but this is my favorite song... amazing
U should listen to soul to squeeze
@@jameshollenbeck1511 soul to squeeze is my fav chili peppers song🖤
If you like this you should listen to Venice Queen
when I want to be alone enveloped in my sadness this is my song of choice it helps it's like Im able to purge the overwhelming sadness and regret out.. love u guys
This is my favorite rhcp song
One of the best song I heard in 1995. Its beauty is intact 25years later.
It will forever be ageless and beautiful!
It’s crazy that this song/album is going on 30 years old already.
This is in my opinion RHCP:s best song ever! Hits me right in the feels everytime!
I don't wanna sound cliche, but I always think of the distance between my two best friends and me. I miss them so much :/
👍
I agree, they are typically a wild bunch but for whatever reason they wrote this song, which I think is really out of character for this group. They must have had a reason to have written this song and it came from their soul and that comes through to the listener, it definitely stirs my emotions every time I hear it.
@@JamesJames-nr5rl they have quite a few songs like this
Theres so much hate for One Hot Minute but how can you dislike this song?
there is?
dislike isn't hate
This album made them if I remember correctly
@@benjamindavis4974 oh yeah sorry, I always mix the 2 up, cheers buddy
Perfect guitar solo.
I think the album with Dave Navarro was some of their best work! He brought another creative dynamic to them. And more great albums would have come if they stayed with him.
Couldn't agree more. Unfortunately his addiction got the best of him. During that era

There's a lot of hit song in this album..
What a great album..
My favorite song .
&
mine too dude
I don’t understand why this album got so much hate?this is Great
Maybe it’s time is now. I loved this song ever since the beginning.
Over the years it became my favourite album with BSSM.
No other song sounds like this on One Hot Minute
Because it was so different because John Frusciante was in rehab. Dave Navarro is a bad ass, but he didn't meld into the rest of the band the same way, and definitely didn't have the same vibe with Anthony. It's an awesome album, because it was made by awesome musicians, but Dave Navarro had to step into a role that came naturally to John Frusciante. It's all explained in the book Scar Tissue
@@danielmcnamar didn't mesh well so much so that i never even knew navarro was a replacement at all
Kocham Cię z Polski i reszty świata! Dziękuję pięknie za dźwięki.
Anthony Kiedis ❤ So unique, talented, and attractive. This band is awesome and their music is timeless.
This is actually one of my personal
favorites by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
This is such a good song. I really love this song.
Great song. One of their best albums. 👍
Whose still loving this in 2020! Be safe everyone!!✌
we are safe, no coronavirus is gonna make us unsafe, we have an immune system. oh and add to the fact that 99.7% of people recover from this virus. the media and government is hyping this bullshit up so they have a reason to impose more control over us all. cause thats what governments are interested in. more power and more money for themselves. NOT YOUR WELL BEING. If you think the government and the world health organization care about your well being you really are living on another planet.
This kind of music is timeless. Like Elvis or the Beatles type music. Never gets old.
You too to all my virtual friends!
You too my friend
Me! I’m still loving this track and this song has been stuck in my head for days...
Flea is an national born citizen in Australia, Melbourne. A member of RHCP. I would like to just say a very Happy 59th birthday to Michael Peter Balzary. October 16, 1962 Flea was a trumpet prodigy but went with the bass. Thank goodness.
Feliz 2022 para todos! Felicidades, paz e saúde!! 🙌
