The only reason I like this move is because it would put more pressure on the Saints coaching staff to perform. Can't blame the roster and the players if you have Davante freaking Adams on your team.
You can't be serious. Davante Adams is a wishy-washy primadonna. Not what we need in the locker room. Adams continues to look for a geographical solution to a problem that's in his heart.

The defense gets in a 3rd and long. Then they give up the first often. That is just demoralizing for me as a fan. I can't imagine how those guys on the field feel. They finally step up on a drive, but you need to get off the field. The added wear and tear on the team. Why can't they go 3 and out? What is different on the 10th play and the 3rd third down? Is it play calling, or do they play harder late in the drive The last 2 games have had a lot of 3rd and over 5 yards converted.
They had multiple 3 and outs it’s not defense it’s Oline and another weapon on offense is needed

I thought it was five times both weeks. They did have 3rd and 31 and gave up 16 and put Atlanta in field goal range. They need to get off the field at least 2 of those 4, or 5 times a game.

the thing that bothers me is that DA is a defensive coach. That's his brand and the defense has coughed up a lead 2 consecutive weeks. That's a problem. The strength of this team has to be clutch, and it appears the D might lack the clutch gene.
When the offense can’t stay on the field, at some point the defense is gonna start getting tired and beat down. The first 2 games when the offense had the ball a lot longer the defense looked great
Since DA has been the Head Coach he has been very stubborn about using certain player's......if the player is not a good practice player he can't play well in the game......some player's are just gamers......if he doesn't play K Miller because of his stubbornness.......he's going to get AK killed because of His stubbornness !!!!! DA needs to change his ways or he won't be a Head Coach much longer !!!
It’s all on Dennis Allen. The difference between 4-0 and 2-2 is Dennis Allen. If we get Davante (which I highly doubt because this team is not that aggressive when it comes to big name players) this offense would be a lot better but what does that mean for DA? Can he tell his secondary to play better in late drives? Can we get a pass rush on non scramblingQbs? So many problems.
The 2 best tight ends in the NFL have been underachieving. Has injuries caught up to Andrews, or is it Baltimore's play calling. A healthy can still play Andrews, or Adams could help the Saints win
I have been listening to a lot of videos regarding this. You guys are actually making the most sense of them all. I hope they can make this happen. I have been behind the Raiders for 50 years and although I still am watching, I am a huge fan of DC4 and I watched the magic he and 17 have. DA17 had his best year ever with DC4, not Rodgers with plus 1500 yards, 14 TD's and 15.2 yards per catch. As you mention beyond DC4 his WR coach is a huge factor. Adams would make the receiver corp in NO one of if not the top group in the NFL! THE DC4 and DA17 connection is real...plus you cannot cover all three, it gives us a way better shot at the post season. We also can't forget AK, Hill and great TE's.I still think we will see the Saints in the playoffs, after that it's up to them where they go. I also think they bounce back and upset the Chiefs Monday night.

I think the Jets are getting Adams, because the Jets won’t make LV eat any of his salary AND they’ll give more in a trade than the Saints.
With the online in the state it’s in there will be reason to worry all year.

Mahomes and Andy elevate the players around them. They don't exactly need names. They make names. It's gonna take Dennis being perfect on the calls and Derek making slightly better decisions.

Y’all keep talking about the defense like they’re bad, they are the strength of our team. We can’t ask them to shut down teams all game, it’s an offensive league! If they hold teams below 20 points a game then offense needs to score 21 and not give away points. Offense needs to score early in the game so our d-line can focus on rushing qb
Adams for Wilson 3rd round pick and LV eat 10mil, if you sit. Rush it, Adams for 2nd, LV eat 5mil. If Adams was 5yrs younger would be a decent deal as is. Given Adams age I would rather make a play for Odunze. Bears aren’t using him right. Just my 2…

This is an idiotic post. If Dennis Allen gets fired, then the whole coaching staff is gone. Not to mention, that’s the end of all our veterans that are still playing at a high level. Also, the defense that DA coaches has remained top 10 forever and that goes away too. Think about ALL OF THAT. Not just the fact that you don’t like DA as a head coach.
