    Hi all. Been looking at the Bronson and have demoed one but with 35mm rims. 2.6 tires... I've got to decide on rim width for my order if I go for the Bronson.
    Also I've got a demo for the megatower next week. Just want to try the 29er thing out...
    It's hard to make a choice and it's an expensive bike ...
    Would like to here any view points:)
    Oh and I enjoyed your other build vid. Love the care taken especially when cutting the fork crown 😊

      Yo buddy. First of all thank you very much for the feedback and the props 🙂🙂 I really enjoyed building that bike.
      I'm not a fan of plus wheels. It's too indirect and maybe too forgiving for my expectations of a riding experience.
      29er aren't bad, even if it thought so for a long time. They're not.
      But the Megatower is more like a Enduro race Bike. The geometry is way extremer than the Bronson's. If you're looking for a trail bike to have fun with go with the Bronson. If you want a 29" bike, maybe check out the new Hightower.
      If you're an ambitious Enduro racer, consider the Megatower.
      I might be wrong, but that's my opinion and experience.
      I have to add: the Bronson paid pedals efficiently and is also great in the bikepark.
      I plan a review video this weekend. This will be in German, but I'll make English subs
      By the way: I never heard of somebody regretting to have picked a Bronson 🙃
      Have fun :)

      @@everywherelocal thanks for the reply.. I did really like the demo on the bronson. Have you any experience of the 35 mm rims? I tested with them and 2.6 tires. That's the next choice 😂.

      @@russc5269 no sorry. But as I said: I would not pick plus size tires and too wide rims, since it's too indirect for me.

    Nice video! you should add a strava link or some other gps file to your videos!

      Cool :) I'm always looking for new trails to ride and Chur is just an hour away from where I live. So I appreciate it!

    Schönes Video ich hab auch eine GoPro 7 Black aber bei mir sieht es nie so flüssig aus obwohl ich mit 2,7K und 50FPS aufnehme inkl Hypersmooth? Was ist dein Geheimnis?😉

      Hey dankeschön :)
      Also ich filme 2.7K, 60 FPS, Hypersmooth, Superview.
      Chest mount sollte auch nicht zu locker sitzen. Beim Exportieren nach dem Editieren darauf achten, dass man wieder 60 fps wählt ;)

      everywhere.local Danke dir vielmals für deine Antwort. Das heißt du filmst im NTSC Modus? Weil auf PAL hab ich nur 25/50 oder 100 fps auf NTSC hab ich dann die Option 60 fps. Dein Video da oben ist im Superview aufgenommen? Und hast du schon mal die Audio-Einstellung Wind probiert?

    • @MTBFichtelhills
      @MTBFichtelhills 5 років тому +1

      Chestmount hab ich einen von Rollei nicht das beste 😉 aber glaube auch der sitzt noch zu locker das merkt man, wenn man über stark verblockte Trails fährt. Bei dir schaut alles so aus, als würdest du Dir die Cam direkt auf die Brust Schrauben 😜😂

      @@MTBFichtelhills ja, habe auf ntsc. Wind benutze ich meistens, ja. Aber die Gopro hat einfach keinen guten Sound. Mach den chest mount mal richtig fest, dann wird es sicher besser

    How'd you find the Bronson for climbing? I've been thinking about upgrading my Marin Hawkhill for a Bronson, going to a Santa Cruz test day on Wednesday to see if I can try one.

    • @everywherelocal
      @everywherelocal  5 років тому +1

      I can totally recommend. The suspension system (rear frame) is just insane. Except for long ascends on roads I don't even use the climb switch of the superdeluxe. Of course tires also are a big topic for that... According frame there is no doubt: for an Enduro bike it climbs exceptionally well :)

      @@everywherelocal Glad to hear that, I wasn't able to book a Bronson demo fo the Santa Cruz test day but got my name down on a Megatower, I figure if I can ride the Megatower up hills the Bronson will be fine.
      Going from a smaller 120m (front/rear) travel Marin to something bigger like this is a big step, always been worried about the uphill struggle, Bronson looks great in your vid though, cheers!

      @@EOHRyan thanks mate. If you don't want to chase records uphill, you will be fine :D I also didn't test the Bronson before buying.

      @@everywherelocal - Tested the Bronson after all, some guys cancelled and so I was able to take their bike. Was the Carbon Bronson with the Carbon Rims.
      Thought it rode uphill amazingly well, the only time it felt a bit weird was pedalling out of the saddle, it turns into a bit of a magic carpet ride I thought, but overall an incredible bike.

      You should try the 5010. It is an incredible bike and for trails as shown in the vidoe for me the much better choice. There was no section you would actually need the enduro bike. And the 5010 climbs better and is the better choice for long trips
