A problem shared ...as the saying goes . I'm pretty sure you're ahead of me in the tent stakes 😉

@@AndrewParkOutdoors I get corrected when I say stakes. It’s pegs apparently here in the U.K. 😂. By the way, I’ve got a vango neon UL if you want to borrow it. Be nice to see someone else being tortured in a real tiny tent. 😉

I like it, had a Vaude Hogan 1p for many years. I loved that tent. 1.2kg and bomb proof, high winds in scotland and -15 in Mongolia with some serious snow.

I’ve seen bigger coffins Andy. I’ll be keen to see how you get on in your field trials. 👍🏼

Glad you’re pleased with it Andrew. I hope you found the additional footprint in the box before you binned it 🤞

I did Justin, thanks. I'll probably not use that very often though ,as it spoils the whole gram counting exercise ( but thanks for including it ) 😂

Andrew do you ever dream of having just a couple of tents you're happy with? Or do you just enjoy the thrill of the chase? That tent is closer to a hooped bivvy than a tent to my eye, like you observed. Horrid little drip coffin, I'll be surprised if you use it much. For 100g more you can enjoy the comparative palace which is the Tarptent Notch.
    Nice wristwatch btw.

Sell one buy one, is how it goes :-) I'm beginning to settle down on the purchases unless something is radically different. Liking my North Face Assault right now and I don't know about the Vaude yet, only had one night in it, no condensation issues amazing but it was a windy night. A

Hi. Thanks for watching. I'm not sure it's actually tied on correctly. I'm going to untie it and re-assemble to see if i can make it smoother ! A

just a funny little detail 😂🙃it's pronounced Faude (listen to the end of the videos Vaude makes them selfs) the reason is that a w in german is called a v and a v is called a fau and is pronounced as an f its the same with VW its called Folks Vagen if you say it right even though its spelled volkswagen 😀

Very interesting tent and design. I can definitely see the appeal and where it would be useful.
I can also see why it's no longer in production as well though, there are cheaper tents out there that could do a similar (ish) job

That looks like a tent that's more for strictly sleeping in. If expecting precipitation, carrying along a tarp might be a good idea. Like a small 1.5m x 2m. Might offset the weight savings of the tent though. Interesting tent setup though.
