- Welcome to Sikkim - the 22nd state of India. Sikkim used to be an independent monarchy until 1975 and then it became a part of India. In this episode, I am taking you to the busy streets of the famous MG Marg in Gangtok. Then, we are travelling to Lachen from Gangtok crossing a few of the famous waterfalls in Sikkim. It takes usually 6-8 hrs to reach Lachen from Gangtok.

Hi - Came across your vlogs while doing some research for a trip to Sikkim. We are planning a trip to Sikkim in May this year and also planning to go with a travel agent for the planning. I noticed that the hotel rooms are very clean and nice. I'm travelling with a 10 year old so could you let me know what category of rooms you chose?

Really detailed video! I had a question. Do you happen to know if foreign travellers are allowed to visit spots in North Sikkim ( gurudongmar lake and such) because I see limited options on the govt website
Nope. Only Indians are allowed. You may want to watch my other videos from Sikkim series to know more. Or you can contact that travel agency (detailed given in description) . They would be able to tell you better whether foreigners are allowed or not. I know non-Indians aren’t allowed at Gurudongmar and Zero Point

I have visited Sikkim last year December, Bought Dalle chilli Pickel from M.G.Road but mumbai me kisi ko pasand nahi aye 😅 Fekne pade also 3 4 points hum nahi jaa paye jaise Pelling, nahutla pass , Namchi😢

Nice to see you after a long gap . I have watched your video from beginning to end without interruption and liked it very much . The state has many beautiful places which are centres of major tourist attractions and you have shown us many of them for which we appreciate you enormously .
MG Road sites are very beautiful and since vehicles are not allowed , it is a paradise for pedestrians . As in many cities in the world to reckon , it's roads are very wide , spic and span and there are benches in the midst of the road for pedestrians to sit and relax .
