I start working for Veeam at the end of the month. These videos have been great to help me refresh my memory on things I haven't done in a while and to try and give me a head start on the training.
Great video. It may be worth expanding on the 'Use multiple upload streams per job' setting which is often overlooked due to the fact it's somewhat hidden (or at least it's in an area of the menu few rarely ever open) and seems to be commonly misunderstood. I have had multiple cases where I banged my head against the wall for hours wondering why performance was so bad across the network when everything is connected via 10G and everything looks great, only to realize someone went in and tweaked that setting which ended up choking the network throughput. Even with the default of 5, those with 10G connections will likely not see optimal throughput without bumping up the number, but there is a certain point with diminishing returns and could potentially introduce issues if they go overboard. Maksim has a great article on it on the wiki that I stumbled across many months ago and I am surprised the information around that setting still seems to be so misunderstood.
