So fun!! Literally folding zines for my very first time tabling tomorrow at the Portland Zine Symposium. Thank you so much for all your videos, they really have been SUCH a valuable resource as I follow this journey
Traveling for zine fests are fun! I live in Texas, but I’ve flown out to Denver, St Louis, Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle and Phoenix, all to table at their fests! I really get some weird enjoyment at people’s reaction of me coming all the way to that city for a fest. I’m very interested in Vegas’s fest, hopefully I can make it out next year!
@@18percentphotographer oh nice did you go to Lone Star Zine Fest?? I was there a few weeks ago and it was a blast! I really hope to see you in Vegas next year then, it was such a great turnout for such a small fest 🥰
@ I’ve done it a couple years, not this year’s though. Houston’s and Fort Worth as well. Dallas (where I live) has revived their fest and it’s been great the past two years. Hopefully I get accepted!
Maybe is a very specific topic but I would LOVE to watch a video of yours about types of paper, your favourites for what, how colors change, etc. Is one of my special interest and I got a feeling you enjoy the topic too!!! I am in love with couche paper
@@RegalizNegro OMG this idea is SO going on my list of future videos - thanks for the suggestion! I’ll geek out so bad that vid will probably be 40 mins long 🤪
As an elder Millenial, I am going to guess that the Looney Tunes bag was kept from the late 1990s - the colors on the bag, plus the actual design of the cartoons themselves feels very much like around the time of the first Space Jam. Love your zine haul!!
This is unrelated to this video but I just finished making my first mini zine (I'm also working on a non mini one) and I probably wouldn't have done that if I never discovered your channel. I was interested in them before but your videos inspired me.
@@catmothcrow Hopefully Chelsea has more copies!! I loved your recent zine fest vlog btw - its always so fascinating seeing other zine fests that exist. Your videos are the BEST ❤️❤️

You’re right! After I filmed this I dropped the bag and noticed that the bottom says it was printed in ‘97 😂

I literally grew up watching Space Jam idk why I brain farted so bad LOL
Will you be participating in Zinetober? (If that's what it's called!!)
I’m going to try 😼
CO-ZI! 🥹 That is such a cute name for a fest.
I’m gonna have to try and track down “Nostalgia Ultra”… literally my childhood!

@@brattyxbre Awww thank you! 💖
And IKR? If I had unlimited time and money, I’d do some sort of Amtrak tour of all the zine fests, check ‘em all out!
