Oh my God....revisiting this. Blows me away. Blows me away. A true master and the Queen of the perfectly placed consonant!! Phrasing, breath control, support. Breathtaking. God, I miss her.
so much right about this artistry...awesome as my heart swells...
I gave this song to Rebecca ( the lyrics and chord changes) back in the early
nineties. She gave me one of her charts in return. I first heard it with Nancy Wilson
and also Carmen McCrae. I knew she would sing one of the great renditions of
this song ever. Rebecca is truly one of the all time best.
The woman strike a beautiful balance between jazz and soul. This just how jazz songs should be expressed. Great.
I love Rebecca...she sings from her heart...she sings it right. yes.
George, it's bob anderson. Rebecca sounds great and so do you man. That is one of my favorite songs. Man.....we have to do something together again sometime. I have been working with Vince Falcone quite a bit for the last few years. We're doing the Philharmonic thing. Have a great Christmas.
Beautiful lyrics. I think of people who love some one of a different race or religion or love between the same sex
Everyone has the right to love❤
you broke my eyes, they're leaking all over my face. Hey billyjazz1 can i get the chart?
And has there ever been a better partnership of singer and pianist? Not that I've heard.
Seriously with the Fleet banner?
clip is no good. it keeps skipping :(
Just so good...truly one of the absolute Masters of all singers of all time. And with George at the piano. What a gem. Thank you, Marla...
