I love when you shoot the subject behind the sun and when you changed position, that was also beautiful. Just wondering how heavy it felt to bring GH7 on a hiking trip like that? 😊
Glad you like it, gotta always explore different angles 😄. GH7 itself is not too heavy, it really depends on the lens u choose. M43 camera have options to bring really light and tiny lens so that’s a plus. But I used a Mitakon cine lens which can bring a bit of weight, still totally manageable, maybe I used to it 😂
@ wow you must be fit and young. I had GH5II but decided to let it go due to its weight. MFT lenses are small but their current camera bodies are still large. The only light camera lumix made recently was G100. Hence i moved to ZV1 MII. I still love the colour from lumix for video though.😁
@ hahaha i feel you, i used to bring GH5ii with its 12-60mm Leica Zoom lens and a 56mm Sigma with me to Indonesia for a week-long client work. It was really cumbersome. Another aspect i found out that my client wanted videos only for social media. The 10 bits colour was overkilled as i shot most of their videos using that feature. They found it was hard to edit on their phone and computers. I had to convert the videos in rec 709 and 8 bits and gave them back. I guess not everybody need the high end video. Plus with vertical videos nowadays clients want something not more than 4K 8 bits. They even want 1080p 60p only. Just my curiosity, Did you find 10 bits could make a lot of different in video? I mean if you upload it to youtube and no colour grading was done.
@ yea nowadays social media production has too many formats, we need to pick the specs accordingly. For 10bits yes big diff when I do color grading. As for the UA-cam compression actually I am still learning on the optimal export setting for it, but beyond 4K on a good LED TV, it does make lots of difference, so I will still stick with 10bit as my minimum if I want something to end up on UA-cam.
Insane color and all, congrats ! Malaysia seems to be such a nice contry
