@@christopherevans4599 is the leak from the main oil seal or inside further where the onion skin and large boss o-ring is? Also if the metal oil collar isn’t replaced and has a groove worn in it leaks will happen. Otherwise it doesn’t make sense to have a leak.
@ the leak is coming from the seal that’s all I know. It’s been a pain in the butt. But only drips a little after driving it a while. Im going to try and remedy it in the spring.
@ one more thing, which seal? (upper balance crank or lower balance?) Also did you put synthetic oil in the car. An old Porsche mechanic told me that the 944 engine doesn’t like synthetic oil. I put it in once and had leaks and then I switched back to SAE and it stopped leaking.

Let us know it you get any leaks. I’ve been through 5 seals and still have a small leak by doing the same method you just did.
