僕はオーストラリア人です！日本の洗い方の方がいいだと思いますけど、オーストラリアに節水は一番大切なんですから 洗い方がちょっと違いますね。

ドイツ在住３０年以上になります。
私もドイツに来た時オーストラリアと同じで食器は泡だらけでした！
ドイツの居酒屋でもビールの使用済みのコップなども全て一回きりで汚い水かお湯で洗っただけ、そして拭かずにまたビールを注いで次の客に出していて驚いています。
ショックでした。
今は、もう慣れましたが家では泡が無くなるまで洗います。

I'm Australian and I agree with others who have said there is no オーストラリアの洗い方. At my house we had a double sink. We washed in one, rinsed in the other with very hot water and then dried them. I had friends who put the dishes on the drying rack covered in suds though, and thought it was disgusting. I think they're assumption is that the next step is wiping dry, and that takes care of removing the suds? Still, I never liked it.

As someone who lives in the same city in Aus I might be able to offer some perspective, which is essentially that there isn't really any common culture around dishwashing here - everyone I know has a slightly different approach. Probably using a dishwasher is the most common, but some people like doing that immediately, others leave it until there's a full load of dishes (to save water), others like to rinse in the sink first, and more variations. Of course not everyone uses a dishwasher and both methods described in the video exist as well (although it's pretty rare to not rinse off the detergent).

The British do this too, and I've always found it quite disgusting. Even if you don't mind your dishes being washed in dirty water, if you care at all about the taste of your food, you want to rinse that soap off thoroughly.
As for the "pants only" washing machine, it's a pretty good idea. You don't want anything with a large quantity of faecal matter swimming around with bedding and towels. As for toilets, the problem is not so much other people's bums as the "faecal plume" (look it up) that erupts with every flush. Everything around the toilet will be covered in it, including the seat, the flush handle, the floor and the wall.
I'm a big fan of separating superficial cleanliness and busy work from actual hygiene, but when it comes to toilet stuff, it's hard to go too far.

僕の洗い方も日本派で 基本的に食器洗い機のプロセスですね、アメリカにはトイレシート（paper toilet sheet）と言うことありますね。
食器を洗うことについて私は日本派です😊。私も食器を温かい水に入っている洗剤で洗ってて清水でも洗い流すし乾きます。

Depends of the country, not at all are from Japan: U.S, Spain, Mexico, Brazil etc has same trouble.
Hmm, around 30% of "domestic" marriages also end in divorce, and the marriage rate among Japanese young people is incredibly low. If these two find a way to make it work, it's strange that anyone would want to disparage or discourage them.
