It's so great to see Coach Barnett on these broadcasts! I played for him in 1982 and 1983 at Fort Lewis College. After the 83 season I'll never forget the day he came into the weight room and announced he had taken a position as an assistant coach at CU. We were devastated but happy at the same time for his opportunity! In 1984 we ended up winning the RMAC Championship and a lot of that had to do with the talent he recruited! He was such a great coach and first class recruiter! I'm now 61 years old and his leadership has had a lasting impression on me throughout my life and career!
Sanders is nfl ready. He’s accurate, smart, mobile in the pocket, and can make every pass. Only knock is that he holds the ball too long and takes unnecessary sacks- that’s an easy fix.
I agree. I think part of it is that he’s in college so he knows he can get away with it. I’m sure Deion and all the pros around him told him it isn’t that way in the NFL
I think he's willing to take sacks instead of throwing into traffic and putting the ball in danger. Especially in this offense where a 2nd or 3rd and 15 is able to be overcome. I'm sure it's a knock but it's better than throwing another pick each game
