- The spooky season is in full effect. So we made our way to Virginia to check out Kings Dominion's Halloween Haunt. This theme park celebration of All Hallow's Eve features numerous haunted houses, mazes and outdoor scare zones. We share our favorite highlights of this event - as well as the park's daytime fall family fun event: The Great Pumpkin Fest featuring Snoopy and the Peanuts gang. Join us for day at the park filled with fear and fun mixed with tricks and treats!

This looks like such a fun event! I've heard great things about Halloween Haunt at King's Dominion, but have never gone. Maybe next year. The scare zones looked nicely done. Some excellent theming. I really dug the midway. The props here are amazing. You both did the houses? That's a nice surprise. They really aren't bad at all, and that goes for every single place I have visited.

We were really impressed by Kings Dominion this year. I think we have a preconceived notion that Busch Gardens is just so much better than Kings Dominion - but they really hit their Haunt event out of the park this year. Yes, Jack dragged me through the houses with him. I did walk right behind him the entire time though. LOL. They really are not all that terribly scary - you were right! We had a good time. I’ve driven past this theme park a few times and it looks incredible. I didn’t even know they had a Halloween event. I’ll definitely need to check it out sometime. Thank you for sharing.
Looked like such a great event! Love all the fog and characters everywhere... we can't wait to do a Scare event someday (once Luca is a bit older)... and the pumpkin display was amazing! Oh gosh, my wife would NOT enjoy the corn maze... did one with her years ago and regretted it... big time... ha ha...

Love these Halloween events! Kings Dominion looks really fun too. I've never been. I love the Peanuts characters singing in their pirate costumes lol, too cute! Glad Jack would fit right in with them haha! Love all of the fantastic decorations. Nice they sell combo tickets for both the daytime and the halloween evening fun. The stilt actors are impressive - I would get seriously injured LOL! Those scare actors must have so much fun. Lol I've never seen a theme park burlesque show either haha that's funny, you're right they aren't quite intimidating lol. Great review of the houses you went to. I am such a chicken. Love seeing the fun merchandise in the gift shop. Awesome video you guys :)

This was a lot of fun. Great family fun during the day - And lots of scary, haunted fun at night. We never gave Kings Dominion much of a thought until we had a UA-cam channel to find content for. But we have been impressed with this park. And their Halloween celebrations. Thanks for watching!
Halloween looks really fun in these parks. Kings Dominium looks a great experience. We really have nothing to match this over our side of the Atlantic. Great to see though.
We like the Peanuts family-friendly events and theming at Valleyfair, our closest park operated by Cedar Fairs, but we always leave before the scary stuff at night!
Yes, the Peanuts family friendly events were great. I am excited because we are going to Dollywood in a couple weeks and I hear their Halloween event is very family friendly. Can't wait to see that that is like. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment, Heather!
I love the family-friendly and Steve and my sister love the scary stuff (I don't love it but will go, hoping my heart doesn't give out! ha ha). The day things look so cute. Funny, Steve always claims his gun wasn't working when I actually (rarely) beat him at a shooting ride. Hmmm... The nighttime part seems so well themed. Clowns are creepy. I'm guessing the fear house doesn't have mine...don't laugh...bees. They are my phobia. I know the planet needs but can they just steer clear of me? This event looks great, thank you for taking us along!

We have never been to Kings Dominion in VA before. We want to make it back hopefully in 2024 and may have to plan a day here. The props, costumes, and makeup look amazing. It looks like a spooky good time! 😊👻🎃

Looking like we may not make it to Kings Island for this years Haunt. I was in a auto accident back in August and that has messed up some of our plans. We had plans to go to the park some in August by that did not happen either. Not getting much use out of the pass so far this year. It was nice seeing Dominions Haunt, but that got me wanting to visit ours. We are heading out for the trip we had planned on doing in August. We are going to visit a new National Park for us. I guess that will be a good trade off. We will be hitting Winterfest. Winterfest is why we get the passes because we go twice to fully enjoy it. Jim

The peanuts gang is there. I wish I had one of those small coasters in my back yard. That would be fun to shoot at ghost. Thanks for taking us on your trip. 👍
Like 2. The haunted house looks fun. I have to admit I'm a big kid at heart so i love the kid areas as much as the adult areas. I love Halloween events at the parks. Not sure i see the connection with burlesque dancers and Halloween. 😂 The scare zones look great. I think I secretly want to work as a scare actor.
Hey Alice and Jack, great overview of this Halloween Haunt! I am like you Alice, I like the day time fall pumpkin stuff, I'm not much of a haunted house person, but it does look comparable to the bigger name theme parks! 👍
