Nathan Ross Really? I did heavy marine construction most of my life and wore a hard hat and life vest and if I didn't I don't think my coworker would say I had baws they would say I was stupid.
Why would you need a hard hat? if that boat fell you're screwed regardless of what safety gear you wear. also there are no chances of falling debris etc as it's just a new boat clear of gear being craned into the water. I hit my head far more times with a hard hat than without as for other gear, goggles steam up, suits make you sweat, safety gear has it's place don't get me wrong but it can also cause many accidents, as it's not always practical. The h&s states only that it should be 'reasonably practical' and of course an important factor on a personal level, it must be comfortable, which it generally isn't.
hellsbaby127 very unsafe lift, people under and to close. Control lines should have been on first, before crane had it....allowing people safe space....wtf
My word....what a fine clip.
length breadth depth size of fishing vessel
Did it get launched in the end, that most important part somehow wasn't filmed!
So, 5 years later ... do you think the paints dried yet? 😂 Did it get launched 😪😪😪
Do you have any other Parkol launches?
Hi Deri
No unfortunately this is the only one I have.
Crap didn’t get to see it floating around
after all that still did not see it float. wow why bother
Rodney Wroten I was thinking the same thingee..
Rodney Wroten , ya thankfully we can scroll to the end. I too was like... WTF?
Steel as the hull has to put up with a lot of stress and also being hit by its otter boards - aluminium wouldn't last very long on a Trawler.
Fine seaworthy vessel.
WOW they forgot to put the wheels on
this is fishing not a car
Actual launch at 8:39 Safe sailing
Yes hello
Not one person wearing a Hard Hat! Smart!
its called having baws
