  • In this video we reviewed 2017 Buick Enclave, the biggest mid-size SUV on US market. The first generation of Buick Enclave appeared on the market in 2007 and was manufactured until 2018 after deep restyling in 2013. Enclave, GMC Acadia, Chevrolet Traverse and Saturn Outlook all share GM Lambda platform.
Buick Enclave is equipped with two types of the engine: 3.6L - 275 HP and 3.6L direct injection - 288 HP.
Buick Enclave is a very safe car on the market for front passengers due to the airbag between front seats but the safety on the third-row seats is questionable because of small headrest.
If you are looking for a big comfortable SUV with good gas mileage - this video is worth watching!
    We will cover:
    - Interior and features
    - Design
    - Dimensions
    - Reliability
    - Cargo space
    - Rust protection
    - Drivability

Another German cars fan, as I see! I owned GMs after germans and Japanese and I got to tell you I didn't get disappointed. And I also have enclave now and enjoy it every day. Very quiet and comfortable ride and when you compare it to Hondas you make me angry, you don't know what you are talking about!

I owned the 2010 version, Actually, bought it used from the US Olympic team which used it in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada - it had 600 miles on it and was loaded for less than 40,000. Had it for six years, just over 100,000 miles. Was a great car for long trips and was still a great car when I sold it - just did not need a car that big anymore. Only issue was the water pump - which was recalled and failed. Replaced twice for free at around 60,000 as the second pump failed within 20 miles. It was a good car for car pooling and al larger family. Thanks for your review for the basically same car except the third row headrests were full size before the light redesign. now they seem useless in your car.

important. Officers are not worthy of perfection like these cars have. Police officers can eat crow and dog food and roadkill.

Thank you, we are happy that you liked it! I would say that oil change is always good - it never hurts to do it. Оnly for some old transmissions it can get worse with transmission oil replacement if the oil was never changed. Usually, it can happen if transmission is dies. Together with the old oil you can flush the rest of the friction material. But in most of cases it is always better to change any fluids inside the car. Toyota’s transmission is not too picky with transmission oil and sometimes you can even send the car to junk yard with original oil. Also, I found out that some car manufactures began to change transmission service requirements. One year ago they told that you do not need to replace the oil inside the transmission, but this year they ask to do this each 60K miles on the same car. Also, some manufactures mean that “lifetime transmission fluid change” is intervals of 100K miles :)

Quick question. Looking for an honest advice. Between the buick enclave 2016/17 the 2016 toyota highlander, 2016 infiniti qx60 and the 2016 honda pilot. Which would be best for Colorado?

    • @AtomicCarReview
      @AtomicCarReview  5 років тому +3

A Voice Of REASON, My opinion is that the best one would be Honda Pilot. Good for gas, a lot of space and very reliable. Toyota also is nice but smaller.
Infiniti and Buick get rusty very fast, but I just recently worked on 2000 GMC Yukon XL from Colorado. And the car looks almost like new underneath which means that in Colorado you are going to have at least 50% less problems with GM or Nissan compared with Massachusetts. Thank you!

You are gifted at imagining problems when there are none! For example, I didn't see corrosion on brake lines, but you say that is going to happen? I purchased a used 2008 Enclave that spent it's life in Montana and there are no substantial corrosion issues under the car. Go figure.

Hi. I was thinking about buying a used well taken care of 2014 buick enclave around 100k. Is there any year enclave that you would suggest that had fewer problems? If its maintained properly how long will it last?

Интересно, как с взаимозаменяемостью по запчастям? В России их в продаже всего 3-4 шт. Информационный вакум, а купить хочется и теперь вопрос, что у нас по запчастям?
