Josh, take the time to understand the underlying tech of Tesla FSD vs Waymo and Uber. You’re wrong about most all of your comparisons. I don’t own Tesla but I do understand the tech, essentially FSD can drive anywhere while the others are on tracks and FSD doesn’t need al the sensors. (Yes the tracks can be the size of small neighborhoods.) I strongly suspect all these company’s will ultimately license Tesla tech or die
You are correct sir, and it shocks me how many don’t understand this. Mostly probably because they have not experienced it first hand. Living in SF and having FSD vs understanding how Waymo works…., FSD >>>> than Waymo tech. That said I own both but Google for UA-cam and AI, not Waymo. Tsla for tsla. Space x, x, XAI.
understand that however it’s widely known tsla freely interchanges ideas, talent, and product ( space x) between them all. Commingling perhaps but why wouldn’t Elon do that? Point is it’s a conglomerate that will dominate So logically you buy tsla you are supporting them all and its self reinforcing Virtuous circle / flywheel
@@TheCompoundNews understand that yes, but Elon commingles all talent, products and $$$ (twitter takover) so if you own tsla you kinda own / support the conglomerate of Elon. Maybe not directly but somehow …I think they all contribute to the virtuous cycle / flywheel and self reinforce success…
Most of the robo taxi TAM will be in cities so the cars don’t have to have the capability to go everywhere. Tracks are probably enough if that’s the market you are after.
To rebut Josh's comment on "robovans" already existing: Well, cars also already existed before Tesla entered the fray, and look at how they manage to change the car industry. Products built by Tesla ARE better, otherwise Tesla would not be as successful as they are today. Also, I'm sure they'll be adding in 4-6 seater configuration for the cybercab, it hasn't even rolled out yet, they want to get these things on the road and working first before they iterate and build new models.

From personal experience as a tsla FSD user and Elon bull, and observations on the broader populations lack of either direct experience with tsla and / or ability to see the broader vision…. I think your POV is spot on! And tsla product is just cool. Look at a Waymo next to a cyber cab. No comparison on hot factor.
