Hello! In my humble opinion, Evan scales better with some funding for the character and requires a lot of good control and timing of the skills to maximise its output. End game bossing wise, it dishes out consistent DPS (because we are not very cooldown dependent) and would do better when the boss fights are longer, say 7-10 mins. Survivability of Evans have been better with Freud's Wisdom and Dragon Master (Lvl 170 Hyper) which is pretty useful as well. For content or boss fights that are shorter (say 1-3 mins), when comparing characters with similar gears/MDC, Evans would still be outclassed by many other classes as although Evan's lines are decent but there are many other classes with better lines (e.g. Dual Blade, Paladin, Night Lord, Dawn Warrior, Blaster etc etc). For contents/bosses with high crit resist (e.g Sharenian's Culvert), Evan's skill damage for general skills are decent enough and our V1 and V2 skills are pretty high skill dmg which works in our favour when comparing against say classes with higher lines but lower skill dmg and they are unable to Crit. Maplestory M is still a lines meta kind of game so classes with more lines tend to do better! (E.g. 22.9m cap for my Evan would still be outclassed by Dual Blades/Paladins with a lower cap of 18-19m for 1 min contents such as Guild Dungeon/Guild Honor Battle) Ultimately, I've been enjoying playing Evan as it's a challenging character to master and the way to control it always changes so there's the fun of discovering new things and optimizing the character so even if it's not the highest tier DPS when comparing against other classes with similar gears, it's still a pretty above average all rounder to me and fun to play!
