Is Hebrews your favorite book in the Bible? It might be after this class!
Steve Elkins received his ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary and served as a longtime Young Life leader in Dallas, Texas, a pastor, and is the author of several books including his latest, Keys to Kingdom Greatness: An Exposition of the Sermon on the Mount.
Where the writer says Hebrews is ‘meat not milk’, (there’s some heavy stuff--inheriting the kingdom is a huge concept!), we’ll also be sensitive to those who might be unskilled in the Word or little knowledge of grace theology. So, we’ll pace the class to not have anyone left behind. On the other hand, there are many who will testify that after understanding the grace perspective of the book, Hebrews became their ‘very favorite book of all!’. Hebrews is rich beyond measure! If the Lord is with us and blesses us, I think you’ll end up feeling the very same way! I hope so!
