I just took the AFCT it’s the ASVAB for soldiers that are looking to improve their scores. Today I scored over a 110 GT!!! Thank you for all the help!! I couldn’t have done it without all your ASVAB videos. I would definitely title your videos with AFCT/ASVAB math. Not the same answers but you gave me a way that made sense to me. I am a Brazilian legally resident here in the USA and still learning English. I took the exam twice and unfortunately I scored 6 in both exams. What's not helping me is not understanding many English words. I'm 42 years old, this month will be my last chance because in 6 months I'll be 43 years old and I won't be able to join the Army anymore. I see all these easy calculations but not understanding what the question wants me to do is what hurts me in the exam. Wish me good luck, because it's my life's dream.

Hey brother you got this. You can do it. Math is universal. Just keep practicing this channels practice exams and use google translate to understand before you take the test. Study it over and over and write down the words giving you trouble. You can do this I believe in you Ramos.

21 years old, dropped out from high school since i was 15. I’m an US resident originally from Tonga and my English isn’t really perfect. I have hard time trying to understand some words when it comes to reading. I tried joining the army back in 2021 but they required High school diploma or GED. I went to adult school trying to get my GED but it took me years and it’s just too long. Now I’m trying to pass ASVAB so i could join the army.
Keep studying, going to classes helps, keep working at it and it will start to make more sense. Good luck

Is something wrong with the audio?
Yes, I messed it up somehow, I think my mic wasn't working correctly
Why was the equation set up that way about 4:30 in? The mic muted and I couldnt hear how he flipped the equation like that.
You have to multiply all items on n the parentheses with all the other items on n the other set of parentheses

I've been watching your videos to understand the basics better. I have a test tomorrow, and last time I got a score of 29 on the AFQT. Tomorrow, I'm aiming to score 60 or higher.

a lot of these answers are really not that difficult unless you never paid attention in school, (which i didn’t) now i’m struggling with taking the asvab which is why i am here and i failed 2 days ago with score of 25 when i took the picat and got a 67, i was one of those kids who didn’t understand the answer in school and said “OHHHHHHH” when the teacher did the problem and showed the steps

Factoring that equation was never explained in my math class. You explained it perfect. And FOIL to confirm. Please replace my old college math professor

I just want to start of by saying thank you seriously I have been using your videos to help me study my math portion of the asvab I took the test not knowing a lick of factoring and you just broke it down in way easier terms for me using F.O.I,L please continue to make these videos as i want to do as best as possible this time around

Where tf you get the 5 att if the fraction is 1/1 how you get the top 5????
1/1 is the same as any fraction with the same number on top and bottom. So:
1/1 = 2/2 = 3/3 = 4/4 = 5/5
The only reason he made the 1/1 into a 5/5 is because to add two fractions (like 3/5 + 1/1), you must make the number on the bottom be the same of both numbers. So, 3/5 + 5/5.

I watched the video and practice on ASVAB Prep 2023. I score 75 on picat and 68 on my verification. super helpful app. my friend used their 1-on-1 tutoring services and she liked it.
