The Mind-blowing Soviet Super plane

In Soviet Russia, everything is bigger than usual, but this project is clearly disproportionate ,even for the scale of the USSR. After building the greatest plane of their time, Tupolev engineers were not about to stop to push the boundaries. Indeed, when the Soviet high command asked for a bomber plane capable of carrying an insane payload of 15000 kilograms, Tupolev accepted the chalenge leading so to the development of two planes having respectively a wingspan of 88,4 meters and 95 meters (more than the Antonov-225). Plus, this project was not intented to lead only to a bomber plane but also to a cargo and passenger plane. Finally, the same military who were at the origin of the project decided to stop it since the trend was now more in favour of the lighter and faster planes due to the rapid development of the anti-aircraft systems.

A truly impressive aircraft, no question about it. Still, I don't think there is a model kit available. Even in 1/144th scale; where would a modeler display the massive, finished model?

Most of the pictures of the plane are made from scale models (including the one on the Thumbnail) so there is still hope but it can also be a homemade.
