I'm from the UK and I visited Pakistan last year. I spent about 3 months travelling the country (mainly in the North) and I can't wait to go back! I had such an incredible time and met some of the friendliest people ❤
I'm from Manchester, UK. Many friends over the years invited me to take a trip to Pakistan and I never went but last year I took the plunge and WOW. Literally the best holiday of my life. I can honestly say that I wanted to stay there. 1 country that I am planning to go back to.
My wife and I visited for the first time last summer. Amazing Lahore, Peshawar, Islamabad and Muree. Samantha says in Pakistan "as a foreigner you are welcomed as an honoured guest". Captures the culture PERFECTLY. Beautiful people.
@@SamanthaTaylorTravels Less than one hour. On arrival at Lahore I had not printed out the correct visa document. I was quickly gestured to a booth where a lovely young man with a printer printed it out for me. We ended up in two UA-cam videos and interviewed for TV in Muree. We've travelled a bit and ironically it is the places you are advised not to go to that feel by far the safest by a long way especially for women. Thanks for your videos.

@@SamanthaTaylorTravels that's great, you overcame your fear and that's what counts. I, on the other hand, have a fear of heights. I tried to overcome it by going hang gliding and I'll never do it again. Pakistan seems like a great place for hang gliding though.

@@SamanthaTaylorTravels well the thing with hang gliding is that it's an equipment based activity, just like skiing. And with anything utilizing equipment you have to know the equipment. Start off at small hills know the hang glider and move up higher. See the thing is I didn't know the equipment, friends said lets go hang gliding so I did. And even with that said, I did enjoy it a different perspective from up there, I won't do it again because I'm one of those males that does things, then reads the instruction manual to figure out what I did wrong.

I totally agree, Imran Khan has done absolutely incredible things for tourism. Before it cost over $300 total and involved sending all paper work by mail for Americans, and it was he who implemented the online evisa system that made the process a lot easier and allowed foreigners to stay and enjoy longer. I'm a Pakistani and i live in karachi. For me there's no better feeling when i see foreigners (which you are not:) praise Pakistan in any way or when i hear something good about Pakistan through international or non Pakistani media. We Pakistanis have made our peace with it, the way most of the world sees/perceives us and this is one of our finest qualities i.e to not care much or you can call it selective omission of dedicated consideration lol but it still feels good tho... I spent all of July 2023 in Northern Pakistan and loved it. Undoubtedly the friendliest people I’ve ever encountered in the twenty five counties I’ve visited. And the natural wonder blew my mind.
I am from India and as an Indian I want to see peaceful relationship between the two countries. But just due to some border disputes and The shity political ideologies that exists in both the countries; it now seems impossible 😭. Lots of love from India❤️

Thank you so much! I really do think it was a calling, I didn't get into this in this video but I had a friend from Karachi when I was 9 and read a ton of fiction books set in Pakistan. It's crazy when childhood interests come back in adulthood!
