Oof. Yeah mine aren’t controlled:( had a partial and apparently kept walking into a wall. I went to get a drink, next thing I know my aid told me I had a seizure and got me to bed lol. How do those make your body that sore? It was the same feeling I her post-ictal and the disorientation is real lol I just don’t understand how it can make you that sore when it’s not a tonic clonic. Cause they do the same for me.

I have had both tonic-clonic and complex partials. The only difference I had was after having a tonic-clonic I got sick whereas with a complex partial I was exhausted and in pain. Seizures affect all of us in different ways and they take a lot of energy out of you.

@@DefeatingEpilepsyFoundation most definitely! I was as sore afterwards as if I had had a TC . It doesn’t make any sense to me since I’m walking not convulsing. I don’t really get embarrassed by it though. I’m just like “Yeah, I had a seizure and acted Weird. That’s how all that works. And it sucks but oh well.”I worry more that it would frighten people more than anything.

@Rachael Ray I know what you mean about scaring others. I had a complex partial seizure my last semester of school in history class. Many of my classmates were very supportive and many were afraid to go near me after. That is why educating others about epilepsy is so important.
