Let me tell you something, if you wanted to get the discs for Season 7 individually just for the action figures before you got them all in one, you can take the action figures out of the box and put them on shelf or something, and then throw the boxes away and they each have a case holding them and then you can sell them to Goodwill or something when you buy the complete Season 7.
The TMNT disambiguation video you were talking about was the first video I watched of yours. It’s one of the reasons I subscribed as well. I STILL only have volume 1. Every time I would see volume 4, 5, 6, or whatever season after 2. I would think, well I still need volume 2. It was definitely one of my favorite cartoons as a kid. Had a bunch of the toys. Back then when cartoon toys didn't really look like the cartoon characters that much.
Wow! I didn't realize we spent 7 years collecting these DVDs. I believe I saw a photo of a complete series set that had artwork from Season 7's box but it could be fan-made... I remember watching/listening to the Disambiguation video like EVERY day while I was getting ready before school.
My Turtles collection is about at the point you had it at here, only without seasons 4 and 8-9. I am hoping to get those soon enough to complete the original series. I would like to get more of the 2003 series than i currently have, but unfortunately there is no consistent way to go about it as those original individual volumes of seasons 1-3 were too confusing. Some of the later releases such as Ninja Tribunal and the Season 1-2 re releases now go for outrageous prices second hand. As a result i have only seen about half of the series, since i never really watched much of Fast Forward or Back to the Sewers when they aired. That season is of course the one where they ever so slightly altered the character designs to be more like the 2007 CG movie. Simply put, there's no way as of now to get the 2k3 series in an easy and consistent way.
Awesome video Zaranyzerak! You have me all excited to go watch some TMNT haha. To answer something you wasn't totally sure about in the video, Season 6 does have a slip case. I just checked my collection to make sure. I still need Volumes 2,3 and Season 4. I was actually fortunate to get the Season 7 Anniversary sets with the figures. If you line the front of the boxes up side by side it makes an awesome collage picture of the 4 turtles.
Is there a difference in # of episodes, quality, and special features between the complete DVD collections? My understanding is there is a complete set that comes in a Van, whereas the new set comes in just a regular case and is about 30.00. Thanks!!!!!
No, the complete DVD collections are just repackages of the exact same discs with different art on the discs. All the contents on the discs are exactly the same.
With most of my TMNT DVD's I've swapped out the black cases with green XBOX game cases. I'm surprised Lion's Gate didn't think of a similar idea to get consumers more excited.
To zinc yes there are ten dvd seasons of the show because on of the seasons arks when they left new york for ten to 12 episodes went to Paris and Ireland some other countries . Was not aired at the time it was originally shot. it was shot original after like the episode in season 4 were they win the contest from crazy eddie at the end of that one episode. But was not aired until a later season of the show.
Our after it was completed. When they did the dvd sets of season 7 individuals and then sold together they put 12 episodes from that side ark on the first two disks and then the actual season 7 episode that were not shot when they were doing season 4 on the last two disks.
the problem with the VHS copies is that if you want Once Upon A Time Machine you'll end up with a duplicate of another Season 5 Episode it was released as part of an Easter Themed Tape, Planet of the Turtleloids however got it's own VHS
I mentioned like over a year ago I wish the turtles was in a complete set shaped like the turtle van. wow if only I could do that with the lotto numbers
In Germany's Set 5 of the original cartoon, those 'missing' episodes may be on those with the English language tracks. I plan to buy one just to see for myself and well we'll see what happens. :)
Nice video dude, very good follow-up to your older series of vids. And like everybody else, I'm anxiously awaiting season 10 (hopefully it doesn't take another two years) and theose pesky three episodes. Hopefully the Next Mutation gets a release too since Saban bought it back.
I am glad that I waited to buy this series. The releases with all of those individual volumes was a Clusterfuck, now they rereleased them as Complete Seasons. I have Seasons 1-3 so far. I plan on buying the rest soon. I'm doing this the smart way. I'm carefully making sure that the ones I buy are full Seasons and none of those Individual Volumes. I know that I could buy the Turtle Van Box Set, but I already have the first three. Plus the Turtle Van won't fit on my Blu Ray/DVD rack. I don't lose anything out of it as the Individual Seasons contain the exact same Bonus Features as the Turtle Van Box Set.
HOW DO YOU KNOW SO MUCH ABOUT CARTOONS??? It boggles the mind. Good stuff, I only have Vol.1 and an old VHS with two episodes on it, good times. Loved TMNT when I was kid and quite enjoyed the 2003 version as a teenager as well which the dvds for that seem even more confusing.
@David315842 However said missing episodes may be released in English via the Season 5 German set, if it has English audio like some of the others have, fingers crossed that it does.
Lionsgate mostly don't care about the fans of any series, They are sitting on the rights to the Betty Boop library, Puppetoons, and many others for a hell of a long time and they don't care!
Cowabunga and syonara does sound nice together. I don't have the Season 1 slip cover, but I do have the Season 4 bumpy cover myself. :D I still need to get Seasons 7-9 hopefully I'll do that soon and to Lionsgate FIND THOSE BLOODY MASTER TAPES! :D Planet of the Turtleoids came in two forms, two parter and full TV special one of them on DVD would be great and how could they loose one episode (Once Upon A Time Machine), those vacations episodes must have knocked out their concentration. :D
Hi congrats for the video, great analysis. I have a question, in the box of the van Complete Classic Series says that includes over 3 hours of special features, the individual sets has this special features??, thanks and have a nice day...
The awesome foursome dudes are the ones that started my love affair with pizza way back in the early 90s. I think I first started getting into TMNT in 92 when I saw the first movie and have been a fan ever since. Seen a bunch of the series as well. Any idea if there are more movies on the way.
I Just found out the original Ninja Turtles are going to start airing on Teletoon Retro in April! I don't know if you get that Channel but, i thought it would be nice to tell you!
Those three missing episodes are on VHS. I still say if anybody has those VHS, burn on a DVD and send them to Lionsgate. I remember you said that Lionsgate said they didn't have those 3 episodes. lame excuse.
Is there a video where you show off your Godzilla collection, if you have one that is. I just got my copy of the original on DVD. The Master Collection version. The quality isn't that great but still it was a very good film.
I might believe that if it was every disc. But out of a box set it only happens once in a while. My ps3 and lg blu-ray player are less than 1 year old. I'll do some further investigating. Thanks again.
Great Video, Was pretty confused back when they originally released them since i missed vol 5 release. The tmnt 2k3 releases on dvd are just a complete mess
What are your feelings on the new TMNT airing in 2012 and more importantly, your feelings towards Eastman selling the rights of the TMNT franchise to Nick?
I remember TMNT from the 80's and I have got the complete DVD collection of their series many years ago👍. I also remember this reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003 and I really do like the character's design and personalites a lot better than the other reboots from 2013 and 2018. It's a shame they never made a proper complete series onto DVD with all the season1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7 because that would keep the memories of the series alive with the next generation of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles , I know they already made a few DVDs from 2003 which is disappointment sadly and I can only watch them on UA-cam as long as the episodes are still there😔. I still wished 4Kids have made the whole complete DVD collection of Winx Club, TMNT 2003, Sonic X, Ultimate Muscle and the rest of the series back then before it was shut down forever.

Season 4 DVD has the season 5 episode 1
Wow! I didn't realize we spent 7 years collecting these DVDs. I believe I saw a photo of a complete series set that had artwork from Season 7's box but it could be fan-made... I remember watching/listening to the Disambiguation video like EVERY day while I was getting ready before school.
Season 5 was not focused but they shuffle and focused more on art
The US version of Season 7 was release in a thicker case with trays.
There were several different releases for Season 7. I got this one because it takes up the least shelf space.
Zaranyzerak Good decision

@@zaranyzerak thank you for your reply!! I'll grab the set. Thanks again. Well wishes to you!
With most of my TMNT DVD's I've swapped out the black cases with green XBOX game cases. I'm surprised Lion's Gate didn't think of a similar idea to get consumers more excited.
How sweet would it be to get the complete series set stored inside a replica turtle van! AHHH to dream the dream!
To zinc yes there are ten dvd seasons of the show because on of the seasons arks when they left new york for ten to 12 episodes went to Paris and Ireland some other countries . In the UK we got a 25th anniversary edition that was basically seasons 1 and 2 of the 80s TMNT.
Just wondering, what is your opinion on the later turtles season intros verses the early ones?
the problem with the VHS copies is that if you want Once Upon A Time Machine you'll end up with a duplicate of another Season 5 Episode it was released as part of an Easter Themed Tape, Planet of the Turtleloids however got it's own VHS
I mentioned like over a year ago I wish the turtles was in a complete set shaped like the turtle van. wow if only I could do that with the lotto numbers
I got season 5 for 3 bucks no joke they it was in great shape
What's your thoughts on the 2012 series?
@Zaranyzerak Hell yeah! Rolfe made no mention about missing master tapes whatsoever! :D
crazy 7 years wow i guess i have to wait a little longer for the last of the silverhawks dvd as well
In Germany's Set 5 of the original cartoon, those 'missing' episodes may be on those with the English language tracks. I plan to buy one just to see for myself and well we'll see what happens. :)

i bet ur glad ur up to date with ur turtle collection.
cinemassacure - the guy who did AVGN did a 3 part for the turtles for the series.
Planet of the Turtleoids 1 and 2 is also on the new best of Ninja Turtles DVD called cowabunga classics!
Although on the DVD it’s original air time instead of the two parter.
I am glad that I waited to buy this series. The releases with all of those individual volumes was a Clusterfuck, now they rereleased them as Complete Seasons. I have Seasons 1-3 so far. very original these Pizza's box!^^ I enjoy this... We don't have in France...
It got a rerelease in 2014 in a traditional black DVD case.
I Have The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Complete Classic Series Collection....It's Such A Great Set.
@David315842 However said missing episodes may be released in English via the Season 5 German set, if it has English audio like some of the others have, fingers crossed that it does.

I'd say buy the VHS that has the missing episodes and maybe convert that to DVD to preserve them...
;)

Wow, surprisingly enough I`m eating spaghetti as I`m watching this. Wait, no nevermind, wrong Italian food, haha.
I Just found out the original Ninja Turtles are going to start airing on Teletoon Retro in April! I don't know if you get that Channel but, i thought it would be nice to tell you!
@Zaranyzerak thank you im getting it immediately
We need season 10, and those missing episodes! and maybe those Turtle Tips.
They got released on the Season 10 DVD as bonus episodes
say no to drug and yes to pizza!!!!
trust me on this the nintendo nerd usually does his research very well.
Those three missing episodes are on VHS. I still say if anybody has those VHS, burn on a DVD and send them to Lionsgate. I remember you said that Lionsgate said they didn't have those 3 episodes. lame excuse.

to zannarak nice video again dude. Your very lucky you can still make them. I can't
I have Leonardo and Krang tattooed on my arms.
Great Video, Was pretty confused back when they originally released them since i missed vol 5 release. The tmnt 2k3 releases on dvd are just a complete mess
Are you going to buy the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Complete Classic Series Collection which releases on Nov. 13, 2012?
Sadly what I know of we Europeans don´t have any complete seasons available here
Is there a box set or a uniform dvd set of these? Each of his dvds are different.
What are your feelings on the new TMNT airing in 2012 and more importantly, your feelings towards Eastman selling the rights of the TMNT franchise to Nick?
Have you ever put a disc into your dvd/blu-ray player and had it make a horrible vibrating noise. If so why is that?
where is your dragon ball z blu-ray video? i've looked through your playlists and can't find it.
How is the quality affected by the amount of episodes on each volume from vol. 2 to 6
The more episodes on a disc, the lower bitrate possible. The lower the bitrate the softer and fuzzier the picture looks.
Are they still selling the 2003 show on DVD?
No
*Cough* First *cough*
pick up the set, good news missing shows are there.
I remember TMNT from the 80's and I have got the complete DVD collection of their series many years ago👍.
