Perfect! Just what I wanted, Thankyou so much, I’m always struggling to get the punchy bass drum correct but I think I was trying to hard to get it too perfect instead of the 90s sound. 8:30 isn’t that the finger snap from the Korg M1 drum expansion card? I was looking for that sound for ages that was on a lot of old house tunes until someone told me where the original came from
@@TayWoode oh wow yes could be!! thanks, I always super curious to know where these sounds originated from. so many great sound coming from that machine ❤️
@@aymaneeljahrani2280 if you want to go classic you can check the congas of roland drum machines. 505, 727, 525, for the rest I made a selection from so many different packs that I cant recommend a single one, but Im working on producing my own small sample pack for percussions and release it mid february :)
my go to tool is my electribe esx because I really like its groove. also works nice as a midi controller. Also like to play things in with my ableton push or just midi keyboard. But I definetly also like to use my mouse to get a groove to sit just right :)

Good one! Really like your videos. A very interesting topic would be to analyze gainstaging on House Music!
interesting for sure. I might have somewhat of a different take on this topic, so might make even more sence to make a video :) thank you!
What sample packs do you recommend for congas and other percussions ?

Do you use any particular controller for programming drums and/or bassline etc? Or do you often mouse click in the midi editor?

Does your Electribe sx still work well?
