- MidJourney 5.1 is the latest version and it brings new ai art changes to web design. Website design with mid journey v5.1 is a bit different because the model has been trained in a different way. While the images are more stunning, the designs for websites are a bit more raw and straightforward. It doesn't mean that the ai art web designs don't still deliver great inspiration.

I cannot get aspect 9:16 to work for me, was trying to make myself a phone wallpaper, it just says invalid aspect ratio

when they announced it, they said they would open it up for a limited time for free for people to try, if they've already locked it that, that's ashame
My miserable attempts with midjourney were a total disaster. I asked it to generate a web design, or a website, and I got some wired things back, more like presentation designs where the website was either in a desktop monitor frame or like a business card distorted and skewed. I don't really see how AI will improve and start generating something useful in the near future.

Now tried it for 2 weeks intensely. It's garbage. It is possible to generate just one type of sites and only hero dominated header pages but it fails on everything else.
As a world class designer who had been in the industry for 20 years. I can tell you that all of this suck! This is maybe good if you are a beginner designer but even then it’s bad.
Ai looks like another hype
Stop trying to use MJ for web design (or any design for that matter). It's not really designed for that. All you're gong to get back are some images that vaguely look like websites, but the software doesn't understand anything about the marketing goals or user journeys.
It's all beautiful. The words AI and art together is a misnomer. Art is done by humans. AI only copies what humans have done. An artist would understand that. And you keep calling them photos when they aren't.
