Thank you. Easy to understand video.
Can you do a video on how to set this welder up for mig with the proper mix of Argon gas?
I’m a beginner welder I’m just using flux core wire for now. I would like to move over to MIG welding with gas.
    Thanks again.

Glad you found the video helpful. I can certainly make a video on the setup. I’ll start working on it and hopefully will have it out in a few weeks time

I bought a used Lincoln Pro Mig 175. It was missing the wing nut and washer that holds on the spool. I found a wing nut but I can’t find a washer. Any suggestions where to find it online?

I once tried a harbor freight spool .which had a different size hub. And since then it is not a smooth feed. More like a stitch and jerky .so thanks for refreshing my memory on how this thing is supposed to go . No more popcorn here ! 😅

    What's the top wheel called

  • @jku72

Lol, that LOOKS easy. Because I’m hopeless, the first thing that happens is the wire explodes everywhere making a giant bird nest. Then, after you sort that out, it jams repeatedly while attempting to feed it through. I’ve used 75 of the new roll of wire and haven’t even turned on the welder yet.
I should be a beta tester for these things, if I could do it, only then can it be considered idiot proof.

I feel your pain. the first time i loaded it was a absolute mess! the key is keeping that wing nut tight all the time. only back it off enough so that the welder can pull the wire off the spool. Good luck!

@@builditbreakitfixitmakeit5495 I finally got it. Once you get it, it seems easy. When you aren’t getting it, it’s terribly frustrating.
Thank you for your instructions and encouragement when I was at wits end.
