That moment were he screams "VOICELESS" and then has a chuckle. Stuff like that makes him so likeable. He's not just there on stage giving stern looks, he actually laughs about his own jokes. Seems so much more genuine.
that's my favorite thing about both him and mulaney. neither of them are afraid to admit that they make themselves laugh sometimes, even after telling the same jokes over and over (or in this case, being really damn good at comebacks)

Performing really makes you nervous, but the payoff always makes it feels worth it (unless you bomb, I suppose). It's not being in the spotlight that makes a difference, it's being the conductor of the on-stage energy that gives it such a unique feeling. Fuck, I miss playing shows.
The moments where he drops out of his 'stage personia' and starts laughing are amazing.

Just go to the middle of the sidewalk and yell some, people will look at you and be inconvenienced, it'll feel the same I promise.
I would probably pay more to see a heckler at one of Bo’s concerts, just for his reaction.

My brother cringily heckled Chris Hardwick at the Meltdown in LA in 2015, it was the single most embarrassing moment of my entire life, as I was sitting right next to him. (Chris was a great sport and even shook his hand, which surprised me)
Some performers invite heckling via 'open' audience interaction. I think some people see these shows and then think that it's okay to just yell out at any performer in the middle of their show.

I was at the ATL show toward the end, and I just have to say, funniest fucking thing ever. Bo was focused on something else when the dude climbed up on stage, then Bo turned around to find him at the piano. The audience was like "dude... behind you...".
