Hyunjin did broke down on stage:( it's one of the saddest moments honestly bcs it was at a time where they were all succeeding they had the first win the first mama and a comeback ready and suddenly all of that happened and the members were RLLY close to him! a lot of people left the fandom and the members started to notice! on the concert the fans did a project to show them love and support and all of them cried but Hyunjin actually fell down on his knees and started shaking and crying and he got his mic and said "please don't leave us... you're stay so you have to stay with us" :(((
That broke me, hyunjin is a genuine and really sensitive person , so he really poured his heart out

levanter is really bittersweet for a lot of stays. (Including me 🥲) being with them in that time was seriously like a war. I think it was the pure feeling of loss, sadness, and betrayal that a lot of stay felt that really made us stronger as a fandom. when we had to sit there a watch them break down on stage begging for stay to not leave after the news came out it really changed the way a lot of stay see stray kids. It seems like a lot of stans forget that idols are human too, and watching that really awakened some stays. It was genuinely one of the darkest times in stayville and some people can’t even listen to levanter without feeling a little betrayed or even upset because of how hard they had to work to put everything back together after he did what he did. but we’re thriving now, and that’s all that matters 💕
one more thing.. the title levanter has a double meaning, almost a prediction. Although the title was originally supposed to mean “a strong wind from the Mediterranean” it aswell has the meaning “a person leaving with unpaid debts”finding this out made the song so much better to listen to. Yes the comeback was planned before he left and yes I’m sure they meant the first definition, I guess it’s kinda a hard pill to swallow that the title means something like that.

Esosa, i feel you dear... As Hanners myself, his side smile/mouth thing/sneer/smirk that he does whenever he rap/sing is one of my fav things bout him... It's too attractive... For me, Han has the best facial expression when live perform on stage... His energy is 🔥
there are intro episodes for every comeback where they explain the songs and coreography so its a great way to get into the mood!
Levanter is so hard to watch! Even for them, even though i wasn't there when it happened but when they were watching the performance of the song, they went completely silent (STRAY KIDS BEING SILENT) the moment song was on the screen

No really i remember everyone being emotional about it bc they were having fun watching even their debut stages and everything but as soon as they play that one everyone calmed down (and yes skz being silence is something itself😭) and the things they said too🥲
The Cle: Levanter Intro, and then straight to the m/v (especially with the fresh reminder of the timeline for them), was an emotional wallop I wasn't prepared for today. Tears at bay, I feel you Esosa! I am fairly late (fall '22) to Stayville, and the more I learn, the more I want to shout out respect to all those OG Stay out there, who were there to support this amazing group through ALL their early struggles and criticism. Thanks to you, we latecomers are able to reap the benefits of an uber-talented group that was able to rely on your support to carry on & upwards!

Hyunjin loves Stay so much, like he's been so vocal about it over the years and it's like the thing he wants more than anything is for us to stay by their side. Also if you watch a lot of concert footage i'm so sorry, you're gonna see Chan cry a lot. He's one of the most emotional members, but most of the time it's happy and proud tears.

You know there's a say in the fandom that goes "you don't find Stray Kids, Stray Kids find you when you need them the most" so don't worry about just getting into them, is always the right time.
I found them in 2020 and I can't imagine what Stays that were there from the start feel now, in those 4 years I've seen them grow so much and every achievement just makes me so happy because they deserve it so much, in my 15 years of being into kpop, I have never seen a group like them, they love and enjoy what they do so much, the love they have for each other is so wholesome and the love they have for the fans is so heartwarming, I know they don't know I exist and I don't fully know them but they're so amazing and they make my life so much happier

during their log for stay week 2023 they saw some of their old performances and their live performance of levanter was one of them, and really their reaction to seeing themselves during that time really hit me hard
Hi! Just to contextualize the vocal line feeling the burden once they had to officially step up into the main vocal role, especially Seungmin: until then, their entire vocal learning experience had been with JYPe's teachings (proved to not be great) and their own intuition. The previous member at least had training from his time in SM, so he had a much more healthy and "technical" approach.
Seungmin, being the very meticulous person he is, understood around that time that if he wanted to truly make the next step and support the group he needed to look elsewhere, so he searched and began attending the lessons of one of the best vocal coaches in Korea, with his own money and free time after schedules. He's been attending ever since, and the improvement to his technique is INCREDIBLE. Inspired by Seungmin, Jeongin has began training with him as well, then Leeknow, and Han sometimes accompanies him.
From our perspective they were already good, but a lot goes into singing for a living. The change is evident if you hear new tracks, their voices are MUCH stronger, more refined, healthy, and they are AMAZING live every time.
Esosa I get you! There's something about Han that gets me kicking my feet. It's crazy!
51:42 There is nothing wrong with having multiple biases. At the start of my stay journey I was Lee know biased that was until I got into their live performances and found myself enamored by both Han and Lee know most of the time and now they are both my ults. But I totally get being completely flustered by one and starstruck by another.
And i completely understand the feeling after you listen to levanter for the first time. It's my forever favourite song because of the emotions behind it. The saddest thing is that last year, for stay week, skz watched old live performances, and during Levanter, they were all silent and just seemed in thought during the entire thing and you could really tell that the song means so much to them.
Wait till they hear #LoveStay. I love watching this journey, honestly. Reminds me of when I was introduced to SKZ and then binge watched literally every thing I could. And honestly, if you see any clips of them from concerts, you will def see them crying. Just goes to show how much this means to them all the time. And if y'all watch their survival series... y'all def gonna cry.
See this is why it's difficult to distance myself to skz and instead keep falling. As a Kingdom STAY, every week Hyunjin is absent and we were busy supporting them on the show...and then HE RELEASES THIS AS HIS SONG after chan dubbed him as LoveStayBoy and all the bubble messages... IT KEEPS HITTING SO HARD 😭 their songwriting is so authentic and sincere

Levanter was really something. The feelings were so raw. We can watch and feel it. And even stray kids themselves still got the feeling. Last year they watched their first live performance of levanter, it was something else for real. They had a moment of silence watching the video when they had fun watching their there videos 😭
I've been a Stay for almost 5 years now and going through this series with you guys feels like I'm falling in love with SKZ all over again , it's so refreshing seeing people dive deep and see SKZ for who they are. Thank you for taking the time to learn them , love them, and appreciate them❤️

the kungfu panda thing was so interesting bc it really speaks to chan's mindset at the time. "wow we went thru so much only to get a piece of paper to say we get nothing" that's exactly what i think he was thinking. and if the speculation that kwj was forced out by jyp bc of whatever mistakes he was making, that's even extra pressure on them to focus on their path knowing they have this force ready to question them or make them feel unsafe. or if the speculation isn't true and he just left bc he lost passion for skz, that's as scary, thinking this could happen at any moment to them. it's just so much pressure no matter what. for something like this to happen after a survival show, after debut, after nonstop work with 6 albums to their name but still so early in their career and right before an album drop that was meant to be an end of an era for all 9 of them, that shit is so crazy. chan really had to tell himself that it doesn't matter what just happened bc everything before and after still has meaning.

But in Side Effects it ends with Hyunjin grabbing Felix' head while in Levanter he kneels in front of him. The acceptance of everything and gaining freedom in Levanter screams through that choreo.
Something about skz, and you’re gonna see and listen is that they don’t brag about their skills, they know they are good but always want more, always want to be more good, they always have something new to learn, to perfection, they 8 of them are really really perfectionist, so I’m so with you about you say to Seungmin, but you are not gonna listen to he say is enough nope, in the present he steel wants to be more good, so be prepared to listen to the kids say they are not “good enough” already, we all know they are but yeah, perfectionist jaja

Watching you both go through this journey together has been so amazing. I became a Stay in April 2023 and I went through what you are going through right now. Finding out and discovering ALL that they went through, to get where they are now. You can see the pain in their eyes and my heart breaks for them and all the Stays that went through that as it happened. Stray Kids are truly a family. And we are part of that family now.
And as to the long videos, don't worry. I personally love them. I usually watch them while I'm cooking dinner, or doing some other task around the house. I've actually been more productive, so keep them coming hehe! Love you guys, from Australia 🇦🇺

I feel Esosa's pain too well. My bias is Chan obviously because he kind of got me into Stray Kids and as i got to know them more Jisung kept wrecking me so bad. I do think levanter was rewritten. The concept is "i am the key and these experiences were vital", but because something happened, theyve added more nuance (this is coming from the fact that they polish their works a lot with so many versions of one song which could also split it to different songs. Plus they had to postpone and change a lot during Astronaut, right after Double Knot) And YES, the fact that Stray Kids write songs with both their reality and the future they want to manifest is exactly what makes their songs so authentic and powerful. Another reason why TMT is a song I always look back on. They had a STAR theyre chasing and anxious about, they parted ways midway, but they have to keep running and then we just see them being the STARS among the Seoul sky they only dreamed of.

Omg this episode reminded me everything we went through. 2019 was actually the most painful year for stayville and for the members. Rewatching this intro made me cry again. They were hurt we were hurt. Side effects era was devastating enough because of all the hate and mocking skz received then they lost a member and were scared they would lose us too. Them crying begging stays not to leave them. Still they kept working hard and trying new things. We were literally fighting every day in side effects era, it was hell 😭 I’m genuinely glad you guys didn’t see that. And look at them now, they got the success they deserved I’m so proud of skz I’m so damn happy for them. Also I’m proud of myself for staying with them and supporting them. I’ve been with skz for 5 years now I’m a miroh stay and I tell you what, I never ever regretted finding them. Actually I found them at the hardest moment in my life fighting with my depression. I’m not joking when I say they healed me. I forever be so grateful for this. SHOUT OUT TO EVERY OG STAY WHO SUPPORTED AND STAYED WITH KIDS THROUGHOUT ALL HURTFUL MOMENTS. I know kids are grateful for each of of us 😭
