For anyone saying they dont see the full Format Menu, you have to right click on the border. Had me stumped for a bit too. Great, video. Short and concise. Thanks
Hello, just seen your Video, unfortunately I do not have the New note or new comment on excel. I do have insert comment on mine, but I do not have the option to change the colour from a file

Click the border line of the note, not just anywhere in the box. i have a microsoft pc and it didnt work at first until i did that, hopefully this helps, maybe you were doing the same thing

Not working on version 16.80 Microsoft 365. No option to format the note :/

im getting this error when trying to select image:
"Bad Request - Request Too Long"
HTTP Error 400. The size of the request headers is too long.
Interesting just to be sure, you have saved the image locally before adding the pic as a comment fill?

Can you do this to an inserted picture and not a cell ?
Good question don't think so only comments added on cells. Might be able to with macros
