परिश्रम के साथ धैर्य भी
एक बार भगवानबुद्ध अपने अनुयायियों के साथ किसी गांव में उपदेश देने जा रहे थे। उस गांव सें पूर्व ही मार्ग मे उनलोगों को जगह-जगह बहुत सारे गड्ढे खुदे हुए मिले। बुद्ध के एक शिष्य ने उन गड्ढो को देखकर जिज्ञासा प्रकट की, आखिर इस तरह गढे का खुदे होने का तात्पर्य कया है?
बुद्ध बोले,पानी की तलाश में किसी वयक्ति ने इतनें गड्ढे खोदे है। यदि वह धैर्यपूर्वक एक ही स्थान पर गड्ढा खोदता तो उसे पानी अवश्य मिल जाता।
पर वह थोडी देर गड्ढा खोदता और पानी न मिलने पर दूसरा गड्ढा खोदना शुरू कर देता ।
व्यक्ति को परिश्रम करने के साथ धैर्य भी रखना चाहिए
