Rip, just tried to pay for episode 54 and then it purchased episode 48 (where I was on the app) I can’t even contact support to get it changed or get my money back. As much as I like this series it’s not worth it Say the average episode is 10 coins. 10 coins X 1000 episodes give or take = 10000 coins For 1000 coins it cost £88. 10000 coins divided by 1000 is 10 £88x10=£880 🤣 so in theory if you wanted to pay for this, it will cost more for this Audio book than unit students pay for the books they need to get a degree🤦🏻♂️ Save yourself the heart break of waiting a few years to get to the ending or paying a mortgage. I’d happily pay a one off payment within the normal price ranges of audio books but this is just silly. No one is going to use the app if it’s so expensive, especially when other apps are offering much better deals

You have something that will attract people to your channel and app. Why do a youtube finale? Seems like you need a manager to give ya advice. But you do you. Lets see if it plays out. Pick a story. Hopefully this one and play it out. Over a thousand episodes so you have years of Guarantee of people watching your youtube content and buildung this channel. You can even sell this channel later with the subbs if your app takes off and its to much work and money for you to handle both.

So these ones on UA-cam are also free to listen to on the app. It's using UA-cam as a way to advertise pocket fm as people will be more likely to stumble across this on UA-cam than on an app they've likely never heard of. By releasing the free episodes on UA-cam, they're effectively getting paid to advertise as they'll get ad revenue for every vid people watch. Creating the video is easy as it's just generated by AI. As a result people will either watch all the episodes on UA-cam, pocket fm will make money. If people can't wait for the free episodes than they'll go to the app and might pay to watch the rest. Lastly, people like me will just stop listening when they find out how expensive it would be to listen to the whole thing😅. But regardless it's better to do this as it has brought attention to the app. (I downloaded it just because of this series on UA-cam). Some ppl will pay for the story on the app. They have nothing to lose doing it this way. It's actually a very smart approach.
