→ Dune Jones Biography
Dune Jones is an autistic singer/songwriter, author, and voice actor, based in the United States of America.
In terms of their work as an author, Dune has written several novels for their own universe, called the Universe of Diversity and Inclusivity. Some of the novels that they are most proud of include the Rise To The Top, Singer Sofia, and Not What It Seems series. The first entries of all three of these primary franchises will be prominently featured in UDI Phase One, and the entries in the series will be the primary series that will be the main jumping off points for the rest of the UDI as a whole.
Dune has been writing for a large part of their life, and has been writing the UDI universe of novels since the Fall of 2020, when they first began writing Rise To The Top: A New Beginning. Writing is a passion that they loved and love so dearly. They draw from their personal experiences from throughout their lifetime, in order to make amazing, special, and relatable stories, for all to enjoy, and they hope that they can continue to do that for years, and decades, to come.
In terms of their work as a singer/songwriter, Dune has been working on a lot of original music of all kinds, which officially started with the release of an original EP, Higher, Further, Faster, Together, on November 24th, 2023, which will led into an originally crafted album that will be releasing in the Summer of 2024, that Dune couldn’t be more excited to share with all of you in the near future!
In terms of their work as a voice actor, it is currently not that impressive. Currently Dune has an active role, playing supporting and background characters in a project called Killer Kiss, and they also play a leading character, Art, in a second project, called Puppets Among Puppeteers. In addition, they also run a voice acting project for their original novel, Rise To The Top: A New Beginning, which is being turned into an audiobook.
This is the extent of Dune’s roles in the voice acting space for now, but they’re always looking for the next role to occupy their time, and they hope that, with time, they will be able to get a role that will really suit their skillset, though time will tell on that front.
